The Tiananmen Square is the largest city square in the world (440,000 square meters), which was originally designed and built in Beijing in 1651 and enlarged to its present size in 1958. On holidays, the whole square will be covered with fresh flowers.

[ Forbidden City ]
Beijing Forbidden City was the imperial palace for twenty-four emperors during the Ming(1368-1644) and Qing dynasties(1644-1911). Lying to the north of Tiananmen Square it is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Surrounded by a 52-meter-wide moat and a 10-meter-high wall are more than 8,700 rooms. It is the right place to know the China's glorious past and imperial culture.

[ Hutong ]
If you want to know Beijing culture and local history, Hutong tours by rickshaw should not be missed. The visit to a local family, who've lived in the Hutongs for generations, offers a local perspective of history, and is a highlight of the Hutongs for most.

[ Mutianyu Great Wall ]
The section is ranked top among all parts of the Great Wall on Trip Advisor for its picturesque scenery, fewer tourists, and beautifully-restored architecture. In order to save your time, we will arrange round-way cable car for you. Or you may take one-way cable car ascend and then take a toboggan to descend, which is an exciting option when the weather is nice.

[ Bird’s Nest ]
On the way back to downtown, we will drive by the Bird's Nest and stop over there for a while so that you can take some photos for this significant building.

[ Temple of Heaven ]
Listed in the World Heritage List in 1998, Temple of Heaven was used to hold a memorial ceremony for the God in Winter Solstice Festival and to pray for harvest in the first month of the lunar year by the emperors in Ming and Qing dynasties. It is China's existing largest structure for sacrifice to heaven. Built in the first half of the AD 15th century, it is located in the royal gardens and surrounded by ancient pines. Here you can find the ancient China's philosophy on the relationship between the heaven and earth, which dominated the whole ancient China's history.

[ Summer Palace ]
It is the largest preserved imperial garden and a former summer retreat for emperors. the 726.5 acres' area and three quarters water, Summer Palace is a perfect example of refined craftwork with finest materials, Longevity Hill, Kunming Lake etc with over 3,000 structures: pavilions, towers, bridges, corridors etc. You will enjoy a boat cruise on the lake.

[ Take train to Xian ]
After the lunch, the guide will take you to the Beijing West railway station and help you get the tickets. After a 4-5 hours train trip, you will reach Xian, another capital city in the ancient China.

[ Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum ]
The Terracotta Warriors were arguably the greatest archaeological discovery of the 20th century, but to appreciate why they are so important and the historical context in which they were made you need a well researched tour. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the World Cultural Heritages and became the landmark on all visitor itineraries.

[ Ride Bicycle on Ancient City Wall ]
With a history of over 600 years, Xian City Wall is one of the most famous wall constructions during China's history. Besides, it is also the best preserved and most complete wall construction, which means it has great value in learning feudal China's city construction, history, military and architectural art. Riding a bicycle on the wall will be an enjoyable and interesting experience.
Note: Bike-riding on the ancient city wall is only allowed for children above 10 years old or taller than 1.4 meters (4.6 feet). If your child is too young to ride a bike, you can have a relaxing walk instead.

[ Muslim Quarter ]
Xian Muslim Quarter is the hub of the Muslim community in Xian City. Here covers several blocks inhabitated over 20,000 Muslims. The world famous Great Mosque locates here. Walking along this twisted, narrow street, you will find numerous artwork stalls and the Muslim men with white hats sit inside it and talk leisurely with each other. Meanwhile, more and more tourists are coming here for the delicious snacks, such as preserved meat, casserole, various noodles, and so on.

[ Xian Museum & Small Wild Goose Pagoda ]
The Xi'an Museum located in the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area opened in 2007. It houses over 130,000 artifacts, the majority of which were unearthed in important tombs in the area. The three-story building is a stunning example of blending traditional Chinese architectural elements with modern architecture.

[ Big Wild Goose Pagoda ]
Located in the southern suburb of Xian City, about 4 kilometers (2.49 miles) from the downtown of the city, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists and the symbol of the old-line Xian. Originally built in 652 during the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), it functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. Have you heard or watched the movie or the handsome Monkey King? Do it, then you will find the meaning of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

[ Take train to Chengdu ]
After lunch, your Xian guide and driver will send you to the train station for your new experience of the Xian high speed train to Chengdu for about 3-4 hours. After your arrival, the local guide will take you to the hotel and offer you some advice on dinner.

[ Chengdu People’s Park ]
Chengdu is famous throughout China for its relaxing and leisurely pace and lifestyle, which will be demonstrated by a visit to the People’s Park. Sit down, order a pot of Chinese tea, have a casual chat with your friends and watch locals indulging themselves in different kinds of folk entertainment - napping, playing mahjong, disco dancing, and giving neck massages!

[ Jinli Old Street ] Next will be an impressive visit to the famous Jinli Old Street. Time will steal away as you quietly walk on the lively streets full of delicious local snacks, delicate artifacts, interesting folk shows, and other activities.

After lunch, the group tour service ends. Our travel expert will customize a private tour for you if you want to extend the tour in Chengdu. We can also assist you in scheduling add-on travel to make a visit to the adoptee's province after the group tour. A transfer service to the airport/ railway station is included.
