2017 China Heritage Tours to LianJiang

Between July 17th and 18th, Lian Yuanna, escorted by her adoptive parents and two brothers, came back to her birthplace Guangdong Lijiang for the first time, so as to visit her relatives and the Lianjiang SWI where she once lived.

At three o’clock in the afternoon of 17th, the American family arrived in the SWI which made the orphanage an ocean of joy immediately. Leaders and workers in the SWI welcomed the coming of the adoptive family warmly. They led the family to visit the SWI inner environment and recalled the past life’s little moments of Lian Yuanna.

The adoptive family played games with the children here in the playroom. Through this experience, the adoptive family was very grateful to the SWI for their taking the utmost care of Lian Yuanna and children who still lived in the SWI.

In the evening, the SWI prepared a big dinner to entertain the guests from afar in the dining room. The American family were quite glad to enjoy a a meal of Lianjiang local style, which let them feel at their own home.

Director Yan also expressed his gratitude to the American family for their giving Yuanna such a great environment to grow up happy and health. He sincerely hoped that the family could check back often!
