Your guide will escort you to a local family, we will prepare the ingredients and you will learn how to make dumpling or wonton with them. Then you can enjoy your own fruit for lunch with the family.
Visiting a Primary or Junior High School, the activities are: visiting the school, having a class with the local students, the children can have some interaction with each other and communicate about the hobbies and interests, etc
Rent bicycle in West Street, cycle along Yulong River, pass through rice paddies, vegetable fields, and an orchard, and take photos with water buffalos. Your family will have fun in this beautiful area.
First there'll be a general introdution about Four Treasures of the Study in China: the Brush, Ink, Paper and Ink Stone. Then you will learn how to write Chinese characters and write your name in Chinese!
We will prepare all the meterials, the teacher will first introduce the procedure,and then begin to make the skeleton and papering. The teacher will help with the children all the process. Then we will find a stadium/square for you to fly the kite.
In Chengdu, you can learn Panda Painting. Firstly we will invite a professional artist to teach you how to draw a panda in a teahouse. After you are familiar with the painting, you can draw a panda in a blank T-shirt. After the course, you will keep your own made panda T-shirt and wear it home. It'll be a perfect souvenir.
After watching the Sichuan Opera, you will have a chance to be maked up as the performer. It will be a fun way to experience the local culture.
You can watch this performance in Shanghai or Beijing. It costs about 60 mins, contains several stunts: Bicycle acrobatics,Circles jumping,Contortion.. . You will be amazed by these talented artists.
You can do this activity in Yangshuo, Guilin. In the morning, you will be taken to a local food market to buy vegetables, and then back to the kitchen, wash and chop dishes, learn to cook. You will learn all the procedure of cooking Chinese cuisine and have fun.
The local family visting can be arranged in Beijing or Xian. We especially have chosen typical local families to host this activity in which you can see the true living standard of Chinese people. You can taste the true home cooked dishes in the home of the family that you visit, you can also learn to cook chinese food if you want.

Visit the home of giant pandas at Panda Breeding and Research Center, in the outskirts of Chengdu. Visit the nursery to see the highly successful breeding program, among the bamboo groves and shady walkways, and to view the pandas at rest or play. There is a panda museum where you can learn some information about giant pandas.
In order to protect the giant pandas from becoming infected with the canine distemper virus, all the panda bases stopped public interaction with the pandas from January, 2015. Dujiangyan Panda Base has reopened the volunteer program as well as the program to take photos next to a panda since March, 2015.
