My First Time Back to GuiXi County SWI

Travel Date: Jul 19th, 2018

On July 19th, the GuiXi SWI in Jiangxi province welcomed the return visit of an Canadian adoptive family.

Amélie and Stephanie are a couple of sisters, and they were born in a province in central China, Jiangxi province. For some reason, both of them were received to raise by the local SWI a short while after birth. They didn't know of the other's existence in those days until a kind-hearted Canadian couple adopted them.

The younger sister Stephanie was brought back to grow up in Canada in 1996, by that time she was only nine months old. How time flies, 22 years passed in a flash.
On July 19th, accompanied by the family, Stephanie came to the Guixi county SWI for a return visit. On that day, the orphanage hung up a banner on it that read, "Welcome to Guo Mei Man back home". Guo Meiman is Stephanie's given Chinese name by the SWI, signifying that the child would have a happy and satisfied life in the future. To express their gratitude, the adoptive family brought a lot of gifts to the orphanage. They had been checking the records and then visited the place where the child had been picked up.
