2019 Spring Heritage Tour to China with Huazhou Orphanage Visiting

Travel Date:

On March 27, Ji Xiulang, accompanied by her mother, returned to Huazhou Infant and Child Welfare Center for a return visit.

In September 1998, Ji Xiulang, less than one year old, was adopted by a kind American mother, Sherri.Nowadays, with the careful care of her adoptive mother, she grows up healthily and receives a good education. As the child grows up, Sherri hopes to take her daughter back to China to learn about the beautiful scenery, history, culture and birthplace of her motherland.

This spring, the mother and daughter visited Beijing, Xiundefinedan, Chengdu, Guilin and Guangzhou and arrived in Huazhou by train. They stayed in Huazhou for two days, visited the welfare home on the first day and visited the city on the second day.

Knowing that Ji Xiulang was coming, the orphanage made preparations early. Sherri also shared her daughter's growth over the years. In the activity room, Ji Xiulang learned to write down his Chinese name with a brush. Later, they visited the finding site with the help of our guide.
