2019 China Adoption Return Trips to Yulin, Guangxi

Travel Date: Aug 30th, 2019

On August 30, Lia, whose Chinese name is Hua Liyun, returned to the Yulin Children's Welfare Institute, the place where she once lived.

Like many children who have been received and raised by the Yulin Children's Welfare Institute, Lia also has the surname Hua. In the spring of 2005, Lia could not find her biological parents for some reason. For the next three years, she has been carefully cared for by the foster parents of the Yulin orphange until she meets her adopted family in the United States.

After returning to the family, Lia got indifferent love and warmth. Now she has become a confident and beautiful girl. Lia's Mom and Dad want to take her daughter to China to find the roots, so that she can understand her hometown and China.

On the day of the return visit, accompanied by our tour guide, the adoptive family came to the reception room of Yulin Children's Welfare Institute. The staff prepared fruit, drinks and snacks. In addition, the orphanage also arranged for the foster parents who had taken care of Lia to come together to recall the fun of her life when she was a child. The adoptive parents talked about their lives in the United States and checked some Lia's records.

Before the end of the visit, they took many photos, leaving behind new memories.
