15-day China Homeland Return Tour to Laibin SWI

Zegert and Nicole has a son Yan who was adopted from the Taiyuan SWI in 2009 and a daughter Fien adopted from Laibin SWI of Guangxi in 2005. In addition, there is another adoptive family travelling with them. Robert and Natasha had adopted their daughter Fay from the Laibin SWI in 2005 as well. With the common hope of letting their adopted children know better about their birthplace and homeland, the two families arranged a 15-day Return Tour to seek their roots through us. The Yan family paid avisit to Taiyuan SWI first, and then went to Laibin SWI with the Fay family.


On April 26, Yan and his family got up early in the morning to hurry off for the Taiyuan SWI together with the guider. The director welcomed the Yan family passionately and held a cordial conversation in the meeting room. Yan acquired deeper knowledge of his birthplace and the Taiyuan SWI where he had once lived. The director also took them to visit the internal environment of the SWI. After a pleasant lunch, they was led to the place where Yan was picked up. Then the driver sent them back to the hotel for rest.



May 6 in 2016 is a very important day for Fien and Fay. In this day, the two families came to the Laibin SWI of Guangxi accompanied by the guider and driver. The director and staff in the SWI extended a warm welcome to their coming and took a group photo with the children cordial.


Then they held a pleasant conversation in the meeting room. The director briefly introduced the current situation of the SWI and children here to the two families and answered some questions the families concerned. They also check the preserved data and photo album of Fien and Fay.


After that, two families have a lunch with the director and staff in the SWI in a local restaurant.


Having finished the enjoyable lunch, the director showed them around in the SWI and visited related facilities to see the environment Fien and Fay once lived. They also took many pictures to mark this valuable experience.



Then the guider led the two families to visit the places where Fien and Fay were picked up. After the visit, driver sent them back to the hotel and this unforgettable journey ended in a satisfactory way.
