2016 Joy China Heritage Tour to Taizhou SWI
David and Robyn has two adopted daughters from China, one is Joy who was adopted from Taizhou SWI in 1996 and the other is Hope who was adopted from Xiangtan CWI of Hunan in 1998. In order to make their daughters insight into their homeland, their mother Robyn invited us to organize a Homeland Heritage Tour lasting 14 days. The family decided to visit Taizhou SWI where Joy once stayed at first.
On April 29, the family arrived in Taizhou by the night train to meet with the awaited guider and driver. The guider took them hurry to their long-expected Taizhou SWI without a stop. The director and related staff of SWI expressed their sincere welcome to the Joy family. They exchanged the relevant information of each other and looked through the previous data of Joy in the meeting room. Having read the reserved data recording the situation before Joy was adopted, the director took them to visit the environment in the SWI and they also shared a pleasant lunch together.
In the afternoon, the guider showed themaround in the Taizhou city to know more about the urban life here. After thevisit, the Joy family was sent back to the hotel for resting.
