2016 China Heritage Tours to Changsha in Hunan
Jonathan and Laurie couple adopted a little girl Victoria with the Chinese name of Tan Aihua from the Changsha SWI in 2001. With the hope of making Victoria familiar with her heritage, her mother Laurie wanted us to arrange a China Heritage Return Tour for them.
June 23, 2016 is an important day to Victoria, because she would get back to where she once lived and got to know more about her story there. Upon the family’s arrival, the director and main working staff had been waiting for them and welcomed them at the gate. The director lead the family to the meeting room and had a small conversation. The director introduced the previous and current situation of the SWI and the future development. They also discussed other relative issues in a peaceful atmosphere. Then the family read through the records on Victoria.
After the conversation, the family also visited the playroom and other facilities in the SWI. In the afternoon, our guide drove the family to see where Victoria was picked up by the working staff in the SWI. Having finished the unforgettable tour, the guide sent them back to the hotel for rest.
