Chinese Adoptee Trips to GuiGang Orphanage

On March 31st, Jiang Yixiang, a child adopted from Guigang SWI, was led by her Canadian adoptive parents to begin a Heirtage Return Tour to Guigang SWI.

In the early morning hours, their guide lead the adoptive family to drive from the hotel to the SWI. It's time to celebrate the Guangxi traditional 3rd of lunal March festival. The staff in the SWI should have been on vacation, but they came back specially and prepared some fruit and snacks to welcome the coming of Jiang Yixiang family.  

Because the foster mother was not in Guigang, the family had only seen Jiang Yixiang's foster father, sister and childminder.

The adoptive family shared the growing experience and photos of Jiang Yixiang over the years with the working staff in the SWI. They also reviewed the records and files of Jiang Yixiang. Then the SWI kindly send the family gift and clothes Jiang Yixiang wore when she first came here.

Afterwards, accompanied by the director and the staff, they visit the whole environment of the SWI and took some photos together for memory.

A little after 12 a.m., the family accomplished the SWI return visit.

In the afternoon, they went to visit the place where Jiang Yixiang was picked up.

We sincerely hope the child to remember the hometown love and wish Jiang Yixiang to grow up healthy and happy with the love and care of her adoptive parents.
