Travel Date: Mar 11th, 2017

Karen Klassen and Joel Klassen couple adopted two Hunan girls in 2003 and 2005. The elder sister is Qi Xin from Zhuzhou CWI and the younger sister is Xi Yi from the Chenzhou SWI. On March 11, 2017, the Klassen family of five people was led to the new location of the Zhuzhou CWI by their guide for a homeland heritage Tour.

Upon their arrival, the director warmly received the adoptive family and read about the record of Qi Xin. They also visited the environment and facilities in the CWI together.

The Zhouzhou CWI was built in 1960 and moved to a new address in Lusong district after several changes. In the return visit, the adoptive families would notice that most children lived in the CWI was disabled. This is because the new Zhuzhou CWI has abundant facilities to do targeted rehabilitation therapy for children with diseases of cerebral palsy and Down's syndrome. All children with cerebral palsy in the welfare institutions of Hunan province will do the postoperative rehabilitation here.

The place where Qi Xin lived is in the former site of the Zhuzhou CWI , so the guide accompanied them to the old Zhuzhou CWI for visiting. After the lunch, their group headed for the place that Qi Xin was picked up by people. They also took a group picture in the waiting room of the Zhuzhou railway station to memorize the long and meaningful day.
