2017 China Heritage Tours to Yangchun

Travel Date: Apr 28th, 2017

In April 2017, a Dutch couple brought their two Chinese adoptive children back to their homeland to experience beautiful scenery, feel Chinese culture and visit the SWI where the two children lived.

Annemarie and her husband Alexander adopted two Chinese abandoned babies successively in 2007 and 2009. The elder sister came from the Duchang SWI and the little brother came from the Yangchun SWI. A decade passed, in order to make the children know better about their homeland culture and the SWI they stayed, the couple organized a China Homeland Visit Tour lasting about 20 days, which included Beijing, Luoyang, Xi'an, Nanchang, the Duchang SWI, Guangzhou, the Yangchun SWI and Yangshuo.

The Yangchun SWI was located in southwestern Guangdong province and was well-known as Little Guilin in Guangdong for its breathtaking natural scenery. It took about 3 hours to drive from Guangzhou to the Yangchun SWI. In the earning morning of April 28th, their guide picked up the family from the Guangzhou hotel and drove them to the Yangchun SWI.

Upon their arrival, the director and workers in the SWI enthusiastically welcomed the family and led them to visit the SWI environment. After a whole visit and talk, the director also invited the family to enjoy a lunch and afternoon tea together.

During their return visit, the family ran into another Yangchun adoptive family fortunately.

Having left the Yangchun SWI, their guide led the family to visit where their boy was picked up by kind person.

For better understanding local Yangchun life, the family even stayed one night in Yangchun.

It is not hard for us to see through the photo that this Yangchun SWI Return Tour will mean a lot to the family and be a lifetime precious memories.
