From the moment I contacted Lead To China, I was impressed. Alice addressed my e-mail questions with direct answers and promptness. She offered hotel possibilities that met my needsand did not push Americanized 5 star hotels. For some reason, I felt a connection with her and we clicked.We were met at the Beijing airport and transported to our hotel for a good night's rest and met at noon the next day for a hutong tour. I had requested that we be able to sleep in after a long flight and Alice accommodated that wish. Our guide was such a delight and so diligent at each and every meeting. We were accompanied to the train station for our high speed train to Xian and Lisa had all our tickets and led us to the boarding gate before saying our good-byes.We were met promptly in Xian and taken to our hotel. After our day visit to the Terra Cotta Wariors, our guide took us to a typical restaurant in the neighborhood where she grew up. It was a delicious meal and we valued the experience. The next day we requested not to go to the museum but to do something "fun". She took us to a foot massage parlor where we had both a fantastic foot massage combined with a fully clothed body massage. Ahhhhh. Then we went shopping at the Muslim Market by ourselves and Jenny made sure we knew our way back to the hotel, actually walking it with us earlier the day before. We also took a bicycle ride around the old wall and enjoyed ourselves.Jenny was exceptionally flexible and fun to be with. She learned a good share of her English from watching the tv show "Friends". She related very well to our daughter and was bubbly yet knowledgeable. She took us to the airport for a very early flight to Shanghai.We were met in Shanghai and, again, everything was spot on. Leon was a wonderful guide and his English and diction were exceptional. Again, we asked for a change in our itinerary and Leon effortless obliged by taking us to the Shanghai Aquarium instead of the museum and stopped with us at an outdoor cafe for a soda. He arranged a night cruise and a got tickets for the Shanghai Acrobat Show, neither of which we had originally scheduled. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.The drivers and vehicles were also very good and up to the finest standards.I would welcome the opportunity to tell anyone what a professional and trustworthy agency this is. They are affiliated with Hefei Full-view Travel Agency and we were 100% impressed with everything.
