Sorry we took so long to reply.
We cannot thank you enough we had a wonderful time in China, thanks to your efforts in organising the tour. You wanted to know how we perceived each leg of the tour, so it’s as follows:
Beijing
It was a beautiful and surprising city with not enough time to appreciate all it had to offer, the Hotel and food were great, Gracie was very informative, knowledgeable and a good guide, but very serious about time.Xian.
The Terracotta Warriors were unbelievable, but then everything else we saw in Xian was equally wonderful. The hotel and food were again great and the food plentiful. Vivian was fantastic we all became friends immediately and she made us feel welcome from the start.
Guilin.
This city was very different to the two previous cities, it was quiet and peaceful and it gave us a view of the old China which we were expecting. We cannot complain about the hotel and food they were up the standard you had set. Lisa, what can I say, she was unbelievable, friendly, helpful, considerate, a real pleasure to be with, we felt we were leaving a friend behind when we had to leave.
Shanghai.
This one is difficult, we believe Darren let you down, due to airport delays we arrived late at Shanghai airport, Darren did not meet us but he did send a fellow who could not or did not speak much English, he attempted to explain that Darren was busy with another tour and would see us the next morning. This fellow did not help us with the hotel reception paperwork and the hotel staff were less than helpful in fact they were quite rude and arrogant.
Darren became quite angry when I complained to him about his failure to meet us at the airport and communication with him was rather limited from then on. We were not shown all of the sights stipulated on the schedule because Darren said that they were either not worth seeing or that we did not have time. Where ever he did take us he just dropped us off and told us to meet back there at a specific time.
Believe me he is not a good ambassador for your company and he can only do you harm in the future.
We will be back in China, and we will use your services again, however we will request alternating one day touring and one day for us to see the city the next day touring and so on that way we will be able to see more of China, the people, and the city
