2016 China Heritage Tours with Yiyang (HuNan) Orphanage
The Lewis family came from Canada and there're 4 members (composing of father, mother and two daughters) in this family. Their elder daughter was adopted from Hefei SWI in Anhui province and the younger one was from Yiyang SWI in Hunan Province.
The family return tour is organized and arranged by us. The whole tour package of Shanghai-Hefei-Changsha-Yiyang-Guilin-Xi’an-Beijing lasts 21 days. In this process, children get to know about China and also come into contact with their birth place.
It is worth mentioning that we arranged the Yiyang orphanage visit for this family on March 9. Also, the family, especially the youngest daughter Alexandra, had an exciting day!
At 8:30am, we picked up this family from the hotel and arrived in the Yiyang orphanage around 10:25am.
The director of the orphanage welcomed the family warmly and showed them around in the orphanage.
Firstly, they visited the room where Alexandra lived before and the special-education students' classroom and handcrafts display cabinet.Then the Lewis family bought some little souvenir for children here. In addition, director held a short meeting with the family and introduced past, current condition and future situation about the orphanage briefly. During this period, director also asked more about the growth history of Alexandra. The atmosphere was quite convivial.
After the meeting, director sent already prepared gift to Alexandra and they took apicture to mark the occasion.
