2016 China Homeland Return Tour to Hengyang SWI

A kind American family adopted a little girl Phoebe from Hengyang SWI years ago. When the little girl grew up, the family decided to bring her back to where she was born and asked us to arrange this homeland return tour for them.

With excitement, Phoebe, her parents and her grandfather caught the early high-speed train and arrived in Hengyang station around 8 o’clock in the morning. Our guide received the Phoebe family directly to the Hengyang SWI.    

The director Ms. Jiang and vice director Mr. Wang welcomed the whole family with open arms and had a cordial conversation with them in the meeting room. During the conversation, Phoebe had access to the previous data about herself quite luckily.

Then the director led them to visit the International China Concern Building, see those children staying in the SWI and the room where Phoebe once lived.

They also drove to have a look at where Phoebe was picked up. After the visit, the phoebe family had a lunch together with the director and other staff in a local restaurant. Before leaving the Hengyang SWI, they took a group photo to memorize this meaningful experience.

Having waving goodbye to all workers in the Hengyang SWI, the family took a quick tour of the local city appearance and then returned back to Changsha by high-speed train. Our driver in Changsha drove them to the hotel and the Hengyang SWI journey came to a successful close!
