2016 Hope's China Homeland Tour to Xiangtan CWI

Travel Date: May 04th, 2016

David and Robyn has two adopted daughters from China, one is Joy who was adopted from Taizhou SWI in 1996 and the other is Hope who was adopted from Xiangtan CWI of Hunan in 1998. In order to make their daughters insight into their homeland, their mother Robyn invited us to organize a Homeland Return Tour lasting 14 days. After visiting Taizhou SWI where Joy once stayed in advance, they would go down south to the Xiangtan CWI for seeking roots of Hope.

On May 4, the family decided to pay a return visit to Xiangtan CWI in Changsha where Hope once lived. Chen xia responsible for the return visit affairs recepted the Hope family warmly and led them to the meeting room. She introduced the CWI briefly and answered some questions the family were interested.

The CWI director, secretary and other leaders also came to join the talks after hearing their arrival. After the meeting, the director took the Hope family to visit the old building where Hope once stayed. Hope was told that the old building looked brand new, because it was redecorated inside when the nearby new one was built. The previous big open room would also be partitioned as two rooms for the inhabitation of the old people.

After the lunch time, the Hope family went to the place where Hope was picked up. And then they went back to the hotel in Changsha. A most memorable day is ended!
