China Root-seeking tour to Yiyang (益阳) Orphanage
Susan and her husband Dean adopted Mackenzie from Yiyang Social Welfare Children Institute in 1993. The new family member brought the happiness and hope to the family. With growing up of Mackenzie, the couple Grimm planed the 11 Days Roots-seeking tour with us to make her daughter know more about her origin and birthplace:
Beijing-Shanghai-Changsha-Yiyang-Xian-Beijing.
After enjoying the scenery of the wonders and local folk custom, Mackenzie got to the important day-visiting the Yiyang Social Welfare Institute on Dec.29. 2016. After picking up the family from the hotel, then our guide and driver took the family to the orphanage. They were warmly welcomed by the orphanage.
Then the director took the meeting room and gave them the brief instruction about the orphanage:
After having lunch with the staff in the orphanage, the director took the family to visit some children and also let them to check the file of the girl. The family took the pictures with the director and dean when they left the orphanage.
After this day visiting, the family gave the feedback about our service for this portion.
