2017 China Heritage Tours to SuiXi

Travel Date: Apr 29th, 2017

A family from the Netherlands adopted a little girl Sui Huaji 11 years ago and started a heritage tour to Suixi CWI on April 29, 2017. Their coming was warmly welcomed by the director and other working staff of the CWI.

On August 2005, Sui Huaji was abandoned at birth by her biological parents. She was still unclaimed after many searches and finally was adopted by the Suixi CWI after publishing in the newspaper and completing all procedures. In order to create an environment conducive to girl's growing up, Suixi CWI actively looked for an adoptive family for her. Soon afterwards, this Dutch family adopted the little girl. Now, under the intensive care of the adopted parents, the girl received a good education and growed up healthily.

In the return visit, the director introduced the current situation of the CWI to the family and showed them around in the CWI to see the environment and facilities and meet some children still lived here. Later, they went to a nearby restaurant to enjoy the local specialties.

At the time of parting, the family sent some gifts to the director and workers in the CWI.

They also donated a carton of milk powder worth over RMB1000 to the CWI.

Having completing the return visit to the CWI, the family paid a visit to the place where Sui Huaji was picked up by kind people.

Through this heritage tour, Sui Huaji can not only feel the love and warmth of the homeland, but also find out where she come from to know more about her own past and homeland.
