2014 China Homeland Tour to Shantou SWI, Guangdong Province

It is a China return trip to Guangdong province for two families.  They had been preparing their trip in July 2014 and finally made their trip come true in Dec 2014.  The two families are both from Netherlands.  One is called family Mollema, the other is family Petra.  They firstly fly to Guangzhou together and have a short visit to Guangdong Adoption Registration Center in Guangzhou.  Later they travel to each orphanage city separately.  

Below are some tour pictures for family Mollema (Father, mother, daughter and son—the adopted kid from Shantou orphanage).  They take a 4~5 hrs’ bus from Guangzhou to Shantou.

Family Mollema brings a lot of gifts to the orphanage.

It is a beautiful picture with innocence and love by one of the orphanage boys.  He makes it and give it as a present to the family.  

The daughter and son prepared a dance and recorded in the laptop.  Father shows the program to the orphanage children.

Lunch time.  They select preferred dishes in local restaurant.  Enjoy the lunch together with the orphanage staff.

It is a visit to the local Rehabilitation Center for children.  She is the doctor who helped the adopted boy.

The family comes to Rocky Scenic Area in Shantou.

A visit to the local famous temple of Tiantan.

Wow, it is really a special site for the family.  This is called Gong Temple, where the boy was found 10 years ago.  

On the way back, they have a nice boat trip.

Have a taste of Chinese hamburger.  So interesting to watch its cooking process.
