2015 China Heritage Tours to Changde SWI in Hunan Province

Theresa and her husband brought Cynthia to their big family since they adopted her from Changde orphanage in 2005. After 10 years, the family took with us to experience the heritage tours from Jun.29 to July 12th which lasts 14 days in China. To make the children understand Chinese culture and local feature better with fun, we arrange some special activities for them: Tang Dynasty Dance, Dumpling Dinner Show, Ancient City Wall visiting by bicycle in Xian, bird fishing and learning painting in Guilin. The family spent their tour in full of happiness and laughing.

Learn Taichi in Guilin: The adoptive family follows the staff to do taichi in the square. They find doing taichi is so difficult but they love it for so much fun it brought to them.

On that day of Cynthia's return trip, some other families also come. After their arrival, the director welcomes them with warm reception and makes a simple introduction about the orphanage's present situation.

Then the children in the orphanage make a variety of programs to welcome the families' return visit. The family has a meeting with other ones who also have the return tour on that day to share interesting things about their children.

Last of all, every family's representative expresses their feelings about this trip on stage. The orphanage donates gifts towards them and gives their best wishes to each child.

The family enjoyed themselves so much for this wonderful and significant day. Cynthia has felt the deep love and concern from her motherland which brought her great comfort and happiness. The close embrace and communication has been established through international adoption and this makes foreign adoptive children arise a special complex to their homeland.
