2017 China Heritage Tours to MaoMing SWI

An American family began their China Heritage Homeland Tour to the Maoming SWI of Guangdong province on June 21th.

In the fall of 2003, Amelia (Chinese name: Mao Huangshi) was born in Guangdong Maoming. She was soon deserted by her parents due to certain reasons. Then she was sent to the Maoming SWI for growing up. Till December in 2004, Amelia's destiny was changed greatly again. An American couple adopted her and brought her back to their home in the USA. It is of great significance for the little girl to have the chance to be back warm family life and grow up with the love of parents.

On that day of their return visit, the director and the working staff of the SWI received them warmly. The "Welcome the Return Visit of Mao Huangshi Family" words were displayed on the LED screen of the SWI.

The adoptive family also met nannies who once took care of Amelia in the SWI. They had a cordial conversation. The adoptive family introduced Amelia’s living condition in America. The staff of the SWI briefed the SWI condition, sent the family gifts and led the family to visit the environment and facilities in the SWI.

We sincerely hope that Amelia can remember the homeland love and start a happier life in America after this heritage tour.
