Travel Date:

Wu Ting, a little girl from Wuzhou SWI, was adopted by an American couple in 2009. 8 years later, she'd started a Homeland Return Tour to Wuzhou SWI accompanied by her adoptive parents and her elder sister Zhi Rong, another Chinese adoptive girl from Yuanling SWI.

At 9:30 a.m. on April 7th, the guide received the Wu Ting family in the hotel on time and headed for the Wuzhou SWI. When they arrived at 10 o'clock, the vice director and workers in the SWI had waited at the gate. The vice director He brought the family to visit the Children Playroom, Children Early Education Room and Simulated family.

The family met the child-care worker who had took care of Wu Ting, teacher and playmate during Wu Ting's childhood. Then they also visited the Recovery Room of the SWI and saw the former vice director Lee and teacher Luo Zhiling at the request of the family.

After the whole visit, the family met with the secretary Zhou of the SWI in the meeting room. They shared many interesting stories happening before and after the adoption of Wu Ting and looked over the records of Wu Ting. The SWI even pre-prepared a photo album and invited the family to write a commemorative message.

The family accomplished their return tour in the SWI around 1 p.m. and then visited where Wu Ting were picked up that very year. Though the Homeland Return Tour was successfully ended, it meant a lot to Wu Ting and left her an enduring impact.
