Twin Sisiters' Return Trip to YueYang
July 10th of 2002 was a big day for the Colin family. They finally completed all adoption procedures to bring a twin sisters from the Yueyang SWI back to Canada for growing up. No matter for children or parents, this was a lucky thing.
Sixteen years passed in a moment, the twin sisters had been blossoming into graceful girls. Their mother and father thought it was time to take the children to revisit the old haunt so as to let them know more about the details of their origin and birthplace.
Early in July, the family stayed four days in Hunan. They took airplane to reach Changsha, the capital city of Hunan province. The following day is the day to pay a return visit to the Yueyang SWI.
The adoptive family knew the number of children who still lived in the orphanage and the staff in advance, and prepared some gifts for them.
On the return visit day, accompanied by local guide, the adoptive family arrived in Yueyang from Changsha by the high-speed train. The staff in the Yueyang SWI also early prepared melon fruits and snacks to greet the coming of the adoptive family. After meeting, both sides exchanged their gifts and communicates the children’s past and present life situations intimately. The adoptive family checked the children’s records as well, and enjoyed a lunch in the orphanage.
The next day, the adoptive family visited some well-known scenic spots in Yueyang city including Yueyang Tower, Dongting Lake and so on. Through this return trip, we believe that children would be certain to live on happily with gratitude and beautiful memories.
