Day 1: Arrive in Beijing (No Meals)

Arrive at the Beijing International Airport. Your private English-speaking guide will hold a sign "Lead to China" to meet you warmly. A comfortable private car (non-smoking) with experienced driver will transfer you directly to the hotel. Check in the Sunworld Hotel Beijing and have a good rest.
Day 2: Beijing in a Nutshell, Kungfu Show (B, L, D)
[ Tiananmen Square ]
The Tiananmen Square is the largest city square in the world (440,000 square meters), which was originally designed and built in Beijing in 1651 and enlarged to its present size in 1958. On holidays, the whole square will be covered with fresh flowers.
[ Forbidden City ]
Beijing Forbidden City was the imperial palace for twenty-four emperors during the Ming(1368-1644) and Qing dynasties(1644-1911). Lying to the north of Tiananmen Square it is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Surrounded by a 52-meter-wide moat and a 10-meter-high wall are more than 8,700 rooms. It is the right place to know the China's glorious past and imperial culture.
[ Hutong Tour by Rickshaw ]
Ride a rickshaw and visit a local family to get a more personal experience of the hutongs, a maze of historic alleyways and single story traditional courtyard houses. You will learn how to make dumplings and have a lunch there.
[ Kungfu Show ]
Kungfu (Wushu or martial arts) is one of the Chinese ancient traditional sports and valuable Chinese cultural heritage. It is very rich in form and content, encompassing hundreds of styles and thousands of routines. Day 3: Great Wall of China Tours (B, L)
[ Mutianyu Great Wall ]
The Great Wall is a series of stone and earthen fortifications stretching more than ten thousand miles from west to east on the boundless area of Northern China. It is seen as a major architectural miracle in the world. The Great Wall was a great defense project in ancient time and it embodied the ancient people of strong will and high intelligence, reflecting China's remarkable achievements of ancient engineering and also showing the long history of the Chinese nation.
The Mutianyu section, 2,500 meters (2,734 yards) long, connects the Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou in the east. It is a superb location to appreciate the grandness of the Great Wall as well as to avoid the crowds at Badaling.

You will take the cable car up the Great wall, and you can choose to take the cable car down the wall or take the toboggan down! ** The toboggan is not very safe.
[ Exterior visit of Beijing Olympic Stadiums ]
On the way back to hotel you will see the the Beijing Olympic Stadiums in your vehicle. Such as the Bird Nest and Water Cube. The Bird Nest held the Olympic events of track and field, football, gavelock, weight throw and discus. After the 2008 Olympics, it has been opened as a tourist attraction. Now, it's the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities. The Water Cube looks like a huge blue box, from which it takes its nickname: the Water Cube. It is blue in order to reflect sunlight. It shines in the sunlight like a pearl in water.
Day 4: Beijing-Xi'an Day Tours (B,L)
[ Temple of Heaven ]
Listed in the World Heritage List in 1998, Temple of Heaven was used to hold a memorial ceremony for the God in Winter Solstice Festival and to pray for harvest in the first month of the lunar year by the emperors in Ming and Qing dynasties. It is China's existing largest structure for sacrifice to heaven. Built in the first half of the AD 15th century, it is located in the royal gardens and surrounded by ancient pines. Here you can find the ancient China's philosophy on the relationship between the heaven and earth, which dominated the whole ancient China's history.
[ Panda Garden ]
Located in Beijing Zoo, the Beijing Panda House is composed of two parts, namely the Asian Games Panda House and Beijing Olympic Games Panda House. The Asian Games Panda House was constructed in 1990. During the Asian Games 1990, the giant panda "Pan Pan" was chosen as the mascot of the 11th Asian Games in Beijing. The giant panda "Jing Jing" was again chosen as one of the mascots of the 29th Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing. So Beijing Zoo built the Olympic Games House. Here you will find several lovely giant pandas.

Day 5: Xian Day Tours (B,L)
[ Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum ]
It is a MUSTSEE tour spot in China. History shows that upon ascending the throne at the age of 13 (in 246 BC), Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of all China, who destroyed 6 states in China and unified whole China, had begun to work for his mausoleum. It took 11 years to finish. Over 7,000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots, and even weapons have been unearthed from these pits. Most of them have been restored to their former grandeur. These life size terracotta figures of warriors and horses arranged in battle formations are the star features at the museum. They are replicas of what the imperial guard should look like in those days of pomp and vigor.

Situated in front of Terracotta Warriors Museum, the Xian Art Ceramics and Lacquer Factory is a factory reproduces Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses and lacquer ware products. It is one of mustsee and interesting shop, you can DIY their own models of Terracotta Warriors here, the steps usually following the trip of the real Terracotta Warriors. Besides taking delight in the hand-making work, you can also have a tour around the factory and see how terracotta models are made.
[ Ride Bicycle on Ancient City Wall ]
Moat, drawbridge bridges, gate buildings, watch towers, storied buildings on gates, turrets, enemy towerss, parapets and battlements form a complete military defense system. With a history of over 600 years, Xian City Wall is one of the most famous wall constructions during China's history. Besides, it is also the best preserved and most complete wall construction, which means it has great value in learning feudal China's city construction, history, military and architectural art.
[ Muslim Quarter ]
Located to the north of the West Street in the city center, Xian Muslim Quarter is the hub of the Muslim community in Xian City. Here covers several blocks inhabitated over 20,000 Muslims. The world famous Great Mosque locates here. Walking along this twisted, narrow street, you will find numerous artwork stalls and the Muslim men with white hats sit inside it and talk leisurely with each other. Meanwhile, more and more tourists are coming here for the delicious snacks, such as preserved meat, casserole, various noodles, and so on. Besides, if you want to buy souvenirs, no place is better than here.
Day 6: Huxian-Xi’an-Guilin (B,L)
[ Hu County ]
Hu County is famous for the farmer artists. Visit a local farm house to experience Chinese countryside living. Then proceed to visit the workshops and galleries where you can learn about the artist's special techniques. You will also have a chance to visit a local primary school and have a class with local children.
In the afternoon/evening, be transferred to Xian airport and fly to Guilin.
After arrival in Guilin, you will be met by local guide. Check in the Guilin Bravo Hotel.
Day 7: Guilin-Yangshuo Day Tours (B,L)
[ Li River Cruise ]
From Guilin to Yangshuo, the Li River gracefully flows over 83 kilometers and the banks of the river offer the most beautiful scenery. This section of the Li River appears like a classic Chinese ink painting with its green hills, crystal water, verdant bamboo and clear water reflection. The great Tang Dynasty poet Han Yu vividly described the landscape as "the river winds like a green silk ribbon, while the hills are like jade hairpins". The comfortable Li River cruise will take approximately 4 hours from the bustle of city life and into a peaceful and relaxing world. The only thing you need to do is bring your imagination, a camera, and keep your eyes open, as the stunning Karst landscape will give you a surprise around each bend of the Li River flows under the clear blue sky.
[ Cycling in Yangshuo County ]
As the old saying goes, "Guilin's scenery is the most beautiful in the world, Yangshuo's scenery is far more superior to that of Guilin's". In Yangshuo County alone, there are over 20,000 hill and over 250 scenic spits, such as Nine-Horse Painted Hill, Yellow Reflection Point, Xingping Village, Lotus Cave, the Big Banyan Tree, Moon Hill, and Dragon River. Besides, amongst the mountains and waters are old buildings and old bridges that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Yangshuo. Cycling is a great idea and the easiest way to get around in the area of Yangshuo to see some of the spectacular landscapes. The paths in and out villages are not practical for car and a little bit far for walking. Besides, most of the routes are flat enough - with only very small hills.

"Global Street", ancient and local architectures, Chinese and western style restaurants and coffee bars, various and memorable tourist souvenirs, special and tasty snacks and beautiful night scene with exotic styles, sounds weird, but it's West Street Yangshuo.
The accommodation in Yangshuo will be arranged as Yangshuo Mountain Retreat, who wins the “Top 10 China Family Hotels categories!” As there are no so many rooms in Yangshuo Mountain Retreat, we suggest you order your room ahead of time. If there are no rooms supplied, we will arrange the following two hotels for you: Yangshuo Village Inn or Xi Town River View Inn Yangshuo.
Day 8: Yangshuo-Guilin Day Tours (B,L)
[ Chinese Cookery Class ]
In the morning, you can participate on a Chinese cookery class, all the way from buying the ingredients on the local market to savoring the dishes; you even get to take the recipes home.
After that, you will be driven back to Guilin.
[ Reed Fleet Cave ]
Reed Flute Cave is a marvelous cave with a stunning world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition since 180 million years ago. And illuminated by colored lighting, this fantastic world of stunning sceneries is found in many variations along 240 meters long cave. Walking through the serried stone pillars on changing spots, a feeling of here is the paradise Gods live. This natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting has been one of the Guilin's "Must see" marvelous attractions for over 1,200 years, and got the name from the type of reed growing outside, which could be made into melodious flutes.
Day 9: Guilin-Orphanage City (B)
Today, you will be driven to the airport or railway station. Transfer to the capital or nearby city of your child's SWI province.
Lead to China is specialized in operating the orphanage visit for adoptive families. We can customize a private tour to your child’s orphanage(s) after the group tour. The additional cost per orphanage tour will be $900-$1250 per adult and $600-$950 per child under 12 for a 3-4 days orphanage tour. The additional tour cost includes the orphanage visitation fee required by the local provincial government.
In the orphanage, you will be able to acquire the current situation of the SWI/CWI, look through your child's record, visit the internal facilities and meet with your child's caregiver or foster parents, etc. After lunch, you can also visit the place where your child was found by strangers and the SWI former site if the orphanage has been removed now.

Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Deposit: 10% of the total cost when booking
- Balance: 50% be paid 3 months for booking flights, the rest 40% is due one month before your travel date.

If cancellation is made 30 or more days before tour date, Cancellation fee will be USD50 per person.
If cancellation is made 29-15 days before tour date, Cancellation fee will be 10%.
If cancellation is made 8-14 days before tour date, Refund will be 25%.
If cancellation is made 2-7 days before tour date, Refund will be 50%.
If cancellation is made within 48 hours, Refund will be 0%.
Additional penalties may be imposed by airlines, train or cruise ships for tickets that have been issued or for deposits that have been paid to hotels.
Once the tour begins, no refund will be made to the travelers who cut short or change the tour regardless of the portions of the package unused. If a traveler withdraws from the tour due to serious illness, injury or other emergency, a refund will be subject to the consent of the local travel agency.

Kungfu Legend Show follows the story of a young boy trying to fulfill his dream of becoming a Kung Fu master. From then on he worked hard on Kung Fu and made great achievements on the way to growing up. However, the young Chun Yi could not restrain his natural desire to chase a young beauty, so he suffered great regret and losing his way to self-cultivation. Chun Yi punished himself severely and finally returned to the way of seeking enlightenment. At the end of the show, Chun Yi is praised for being a great Buddhist master of Chinese Kung Fu.

Beijing Hutong Rickshaw Tour
Hutongs are a type of narrow streets or alleys, commonly associated with northern Chinese cities, most prominently Beijing. In Beijing, hutongs are alleys formed by lines of siheyuan, traditional courtyard residences. Many neighbourhoods were formed by joining one siheyuan to another to form a hutong, and then joining one hutong to another. The word hutong is also used to refer to such neighbourhoods.
Since the mid-20th century, the number of Beijing hutongs has dropped dramatically as they are demolished to make way for new roads and buildings. Nowadays, the well-preserved Hutong zones are located in Dongcheng District, Xicheng District and Qianmen District, all of which are the nice places to feel the Hutongs culture. Some people say Hutong likes an encyclopedia reflecting the history and the social customs of Beijing.

I think maybe you have watched some Hong Kong movies, some scene about Funeral procession, some people in the front of the team hold various, bright paper-made human, car, sedan chair, lantern which means the dead man can have comfortable life by using these things underground. This is the original use of paper cut.
The professional paper cutting artists appeared since since 960 AD (Song dynasty).Some were good at cutting flowers while some others were authorities at characters' cutting. Thus the patterns were abundant and colorful: phoenix, clubs, characters with the meaning of luck and happiness etc. Some were made exclusive for presents'decorations and some were cut for posting on. One of the most important contributions of paper cutting in Song dynasty was that patterns were used on the Chinas and dyeing cloth.
In ancient China, paper cutting are usually made by the feamles in some villages, and the handicraft used to be taken as a standard of a eligible bride. Nowadays, It is common to see that People in Northern China still keep the tradition to post paper cutting on windows and doors during festivals. Meanwhile, it has already developed into a unique art form and loved by people from all over the world.

Making Chinese Dumplings
You are going to make dumplings in an ordinary Beijing people family and share the happiness of them.
All ingredients are prepared, you can make the dumplings with the help of the host. Of course, then you will taste the dumplings you made to check your skill.
Dumplings are one of the Chinese people's favorite traditional dishes. To Chinese people who show high reverence for family love, having dumplings at the moment the old year is replaced by the new is an essential part of bidding farewell to the old and ushering in the new year.And then let us know how to make it.
According to an ancient Chinese legend, dumplings were first made by the medical saint---Zhang Zhongjing. There are three steps involved in making dumplings: 1) make dumpling wrappers out of dumpling flour（擀皮ɡǎnpí）; 2) prepare the dumpling stuffing; 3) make dumplings and boil them. With thin and elastic dough skin, fresh and tender stuffing, delicious taste, and unique shapes, dumplings are worth eating hundreds of times. There’s an old saying that claims(俗语súyǔ), “Nothing could be more delicious than dumplings”. During the Spring Festival and other holidays, or when treating relatives and friends, Chinese people like to follow the auspicious custom of eating dumplings.
First of all,pour some water into the wheat flour,and stir it until it becomes a piece of dough,you can put three egg whites in the 250g flour, it may cause the stuffed dumpling skin nicely chewy skidding. after that then put them for 20 minutes to "awake the dough".also get some filling ready.it can be vegetables or meat.Certainly remember must put the oil before put the salt, in such vegetable moisture not easily is killed by the salt…After,put the ingredient such as spice,onion and ginger to stir evenly on is OK.
Then cut the large ipece of dough into many small pieces,roll the dough with a rolling pin into round,thin wrappers.Put the filling in the center of a wrappper,and fold it up.
The last thing to do is to boil them, When the water is boiling, put the dumplings one by one into the water and cover the pot. When steam comes out, add more cold water and when it boils again add cold water a second time. When you see the dumplings floating in boiling water, you can put them in bowls or plates, get the chopsticks and be ready to eat.
In northern China,dumplings are dipped（蘸zhàn） in vinegar and soy sauce and often eaten with a piece of raw garlic.

The cost for the orphanage visit will vary depending on the city but will average about $660USD per adult and $530USD per child under 12 (Price including airfare to provincial capital, accommodations, transportation to orphanage, guide, etc.). Once we have all of the details for your orphanage visit, we'll request a quote from our in-China rep and forward this information to you. It can take 2 - 3 days to obtain your quote. In addition to the above, there will be a fee to visit the orphanage that is paid to the Civil Affairs department. This fee ranges from 800RM - 2200RMB.
Adopted Chinese children must travel with their own parent(s).
Each family will need to provide the following information upon registration:
Full name and number on current/valid passport for each traveler
Adoptee's Chinese name, orphanage and province
Adoption agency name and adoption date
Prior to your orphanage visit application submission, please make sure you have the following documents ready:
A copy of each visitor's passports
A copy of the adoption certificate or the notarized adoption documents (Sample documents in PDF)

The name list of all visitors; make sure the relationship between each visitor and the adopted child is listed.
SWI Visiting Arrangements
Generally speaking, you will arrive at the city where the SWI located one day in advance, and have one whole next day to visit SWI, and recall the good time your kid spent here with the nurse and director of the SWI.

1. Welcome Ceremony
The Director of the SWI will meet you firstly and then have short communication with you on SWI and things you are interested in.
2. Visit SWI
The Director of the SWI will show you around the SWI, such as the children's activity room, library, bedroom, recreation room, dining hall. Your tour guide is your interpreter, and he/she will help you to find out your concerns.
3. Meeting with Your Child's Nurse and China Foster Family
The SWI will inform them your coming and arrange the meeting in SWI if they could find the nurse and the foster family. You know, some left and even moved to other city, so we cannot guarantee that we will find them certainly. It depends on the response from SWI.
4. Chinese Lunch with the Director of SWI
Generally, we will arrange your lunch in SWI dining hall with the director of SWI and you can continue your talk with him/her. However, if he/she is busy and cannot make it with you, or dining hall is not available, we will arrange your lunch in nearby Chinese restaurant with good reputation and hygienic environment. Your tour guide will help you to order dishes to your interests.
5. Vist the Place Where Your Child Was Found
Based on 捡拾弃婴（儿童）情况证明(a file shows where your child was found and who can prove it), your tour guide will accompany you to that area to have a look. Sometimes, life is a miracle and time is the only thing to witness it. One night many years ago, a helpless infant was crying in a little quilt and hoping for a warm embrace from his/her parents, Who would have guessed that the warm embrace comes from a far away country on the opposite side of the continent years later. Thanks God.
6. Take Photos
Drive back to SWI, and say bye bye to people in it. Take photos with people you want to, and give best wishes to people who have been devoted their whole life to look after abandoned children.

1. It is allowed to check the files of your child in SWI, but should have permission from Provincial Civil Affairs Department firstly.
2. If you want to meet your child's nurse or China's foster family, the SWI will arrange your meeting in SWI. However, some of them did leave for some reasons, so we cannot give you word that we will find them certainly. Anyway, please give best wishes to them.

We do think having breakfast in your hotel is rather convenient and more hygienic. Besides, most hotels come with breakfast. Generally speaking, 4 or 5-star hotels have good western and Chinese buffet breeakfast. 3-star hotels may only have Chinese breakfast with rice porridge, eggs, Chinese style breads and vegetables.
[ Lunch ]
While on tour, lunch is generally Chinese style. Our guide will help you order to your interests. Dishes are served family style and shared by the guests. The driver and guide may eat on their own or will join you if you invite them. Of course, we do have some fixed restaurants with good reputation and delicious Chinese dishes. Just tell the tour guide your concerns, he/she will find the right dishes for you.
[ Dinner ]
Usually, our clients prefer to relax after a day tour and arrange their own dinner in hotel or somewhere. So your tour guide will give you restaurant suggestions on your needs, which gives you flexibility in time and cuisine. Besides, most cities in China have KFC, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, and some famous world chain restaurants. Just tell your tour guide your idea, he/she will find best solution for you.
[ Drinking Water ]
Most of our tours offer unlimited bottled water in the vehicle so you can keep hydrated and healthy all day long. Tap water in your room is not suitable for drink but it's ok to wash hands & face.
[ Children and Special Diets ]
If you need some special diets or the selective eating of children. Let us know in advance and arrange the suitable diets with nice restaurants for you. If your children are eagering to stop at McDonald's or KFC, you can tell your tour guide who knows where to stop. Halal, vegetarian restaurants, Hindu Meal are definitely possible in big cities, such as Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou and so on, but may not possible in small cities, town or area. Better inform your tour guide in advance.
Vehicles and Drivers used in our China Tours
All our druivers have driving license, several years driving experiences, and they are trained to drive safely and slowly in what is often a chaotic road. It's their job to make you safe and comfortable. Besides, our drivers will adjust the route when traffic jam happens. Normally you will have the same driver and guide in a city. The vehicles will not be completely filled for giving you room to stow your luggage. van will have seat belts for you to use. Some larger buses may not.
There are different types of vans and buses used in various cities around China. The specific type depends on your size of your group. We will give you the one with the right size. However, if you have special requirements on vehicle, don't hesitate to tell us. We will try our best to find best solution for you.
