Guangdong Climate
Located in the southeast of China, Guangdong has a humid subtropical and tropical climate marked by high temperature and plentiful rainfall, featuring all-year pleasant climate, short, mild, dry, winters and long, hot, wet summers.Average daily highs in Guangzhou in January and July are 18 °C (64 °F) and 33 °C (91 °F) respectively, although the humidity makes it feel much hotter in summer. Frost is rare on the coast but may happen a few days each winter well inland.
Spring is humid and rainy, summer here is long, hot and wet with occasional typhoons between July and August, autumn is very moderate, cool and windy while winter is short, mild and dry. Besides, over 1/3 days of one year are rainy days, which fall between April and September. The good weather of autumn often lasts to November and December; whie the best traveling time is from October to December. Winter is a little chilly but short. Sweaters are sufficient.
