In Shanxi Province, there are four airports: Taiyuan Wusu International Airport, Datong Airport, Changzhi Wangcun Airport and Yuncheng Guangong Airport. There are five highway centers in Shanxi Province: Taiyuan, Datong, Changzhi, Changzhi, Linfen and Houma. Travelers can get to Taiyuan from Yuanping City directly by highway, so as from Datong to Beijing. The national highways connect Shanxi with Gansu, Ningxia, Hebei, Beijing and Inner Mongolia.
