Detailed Itinerary
Kunming Arrival (No Meals)
Upon your arrival in Kunming airport/train station, you will be met in the arrivals area by our local guide holding a flag of "LEADTOCHINA". After a warm welcome and brief introduction, she/he will takeyou to thehotel of Grand Park Kunming with the assistance of check-in. The rest of the day is for you to acclimatize and explore the city, or relax and recoup ready for the tour tomorrow.
Kunming CWI & Foster Family Village Visit (B/L/D)
In the morning, your guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel and drive you to the Kunming CWI.
After your arrival, a solemn welcome ceremony will be held there, including the speeches of Kunming CWI director and adoptive family representative, watching shows performed by children, visiting CWI environment, acquiring children's past records and situations, etc. Lunch will be enjoyed in the dining room of the Kunming CWI.
In the afternoon, you will move on to pay a visit to the Foster Family Village.
After that, your guide will send you back to the hotel when you finish dinner.
Visit the Stone Forest of Kunming (B/L)
After the breakfast, you will take a 1.5 hours’ drive and visit the Stone Forest. It is a fantastic natural phenomenon located 90 kilometers southeast of Kunming. The various shapes of limestone were formed due to millions of years' movement of the Earth. The Stone Forest area is the home of the Naxi people, and their folk customs have become a spectacular scene. The colorful embroidery and minority dances combined with the natural scenery will surely leave you with a lasting impression. After the tour, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel for a good rest.
Kunming Departure (B)
Your car, driver and the guide will be ready and waiting for you at hotel to get you to the airport/railway station on time. Sit back and relax. Your guide will help you check-in and escort you to the correct security gate.

- Chinese adopted children must travel with their own parents.
- At least one child must be from Yunnan province.
- A $200.00 per person non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. Balance is due 60 days before departure.
