DETAILED ITINERARY
You will be picked up from your hotel in Shanghai by our private car and tour guide, then transferred to Shanghai Railway Station. Our tour guide will assist you in finding the right platform and taking the right carriage of the train D306(21:15 - next day 07:30 am) for Beijing.
We offer four-bed cabin - people in the four-bed cabin using the public washing room. All the cabins equipped with small TV. Free hot water. Routine running of food cart selling bottled water, beer and snack. Clean dining car. Air-conditioned. Please be ready to have some daily necessities on hand like tooth paste, tooth brush, towel etc.
Day 2 Beijing to Shanghai by overnight train
Your train arrives in Beijing at 07:55 am. Please get ready and don't forget your personal belongings on the train. Holding a signboard in your name, our tour guide in Beijing is expecting you in front of your carriage on the platform inside the train station.
After disemaking the train, you are first arranged to have the excurson tour of Mutianyu Great Wall(cable car is optional). The Mutianyu Great Wall is the most beautiful section of the all 5 sections of the Great Wall in Beijing. The hike takes about 2-3 hours.
After lunch, drive back to the city center of Beijing to visit Forbidden City. The Forbidden City was the seat of Imperial power for 500 years, and is now a major tourist attraction in China. The total area of the complex is 183 acres, so it takes quite a while to walk through, especially if you want to have a close look at everything. All together there are 9,999 1/2 rooms in the Museum, not all of which can be visited.
Than move on to Tiananmen Square. It is the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the biggest square in the world. It is 500 meters wide ,880 meters long and the ground is paved with light granite slate disposed through special technology treatment. The flag-raising ceremony at sunrise and flag-lowering ceremony at sunset are the most magnificent rites.
After the tour, take the overnight the Train D 305 (21:40 - next day 07:55 am) back to Shanghai.
Day 3 Arrival in Shangahi at 07:55am
Your train arrives in Shanghai at 07:55. Our tour guide in Shanghai will expect you in front of your train carriage, then take you to the car or van and transferred back to your hotel in Shanghai.
