Hi I know it gets cold in December but how cold?
Asked by natalie (Aug.11, 2013)

Lead to China Trip Advisor (Aug.11, 2013) replied:
Dear Natalie, thanks for your question. December in Beijing is dry and chilly, with an average temperature of -2C (28 F), average high temperature of 4C (39F). It is a low tourist month in Beijing, so hotels and air companies usually provide favorable discounts. However, Winter in Beijing with months from November to March is the right time to enjoy winter activities, such as skiing, skating. Besides, January to February is a traditional bustling peroid for the Chinese New Year in February.

I plan to visit Beijing in late Feb. what clothes should I take? is umbrella or raincoat necessary?
Asked by William (Aug.24, 2012)

Lead to China Trip Advisor (Aug.24, 2012) replied:
Hi, William, it is still winter, you'd better wear down jacket and sweater, glovesand hat. It will not rain in February, there is no need to bring raincoat.
