11 Days Shanghai Guilin Xian Beijing Tour

Day 2 Shanghai
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and come to People's Square in the city center, covering 140,000 square meters, surrounded by the municipal government office building, the Shanghai Museum, Shanghai City Planning Exhibition Hall and the Grand Theatre. First visit Shanghai Museum, the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Then wander the Nanjing Pedestrian Road. It is regarded as the first commercial street in Shanghai. Walk from the eastern end of Nanjing Road to the Bund. The Bund (Waitan) is one of the most noted architectural symbols of Shanghai.
After lunch, continue to visit the new development zone in Pudong - Lujiazui, which is teemed with the futuristic, avant-garde buildings - Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Building, Bank of China Tower. Taking the elevator to the 88-storey Observation Deck of Jinmao Tower to have a bird's eye view of Huangpu River. Finally take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. Back to your hote
Day 3 Shanghai
Pick up from your hotel in Shanghai. First Jade Buddha Temple. Jade Buddha Temple, is the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai. Continue to visit the Longtangs in Jingan District. Longtangs in Shanghai are just like Hutongs in Beijing, the lanes lined with houses where people have more chances to communicate with each other.
After lunch, move on to Shanghai Bazaar and Yu Yuan Garden. Yuyuan is the most famous garden in Shanghai. It is located in the heart of Shanghai's Old City (Shanghai bazaar), one of the few existant old tourist places in Shanghai. Shanghai bazaar is teemed with a great number of small streets and lanes where vendors sell their products and food stuffs to the tourists and local people. After dinner, you are arranged to watch acrobatic show. The Acrobatics at Shanghai are not to be missed.
Day 4 Shanghai to Guilin by Flight
After breakfast, take flight for Guilin. Arrival in Guilin, met and transferred to your hotel. After lunch visit Reed Flute Cave - a fantastic wonderland of karst caves with landscape and rural scenery. Then move on to Elephant Trunk Hill - named after its striking resemblance to an elephant sipping water, symbol of Guilin.
Day 5 Guilin
Enjoy a morning cruise down the winding Li River - the highlight of sightseeing tour in Guilin with lunch aboard. You will enjoy the beautiful mountains, verdant fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Get off at the old town Yangshuo - famous for its spectacular views of hills and rivers with famous bar streets. The whole afternoon exploring the old town before transferred back to Guilin city. Dinner and Minority Performance in the evening.
Day 6 Guilin to Xian by Flight
Take flight to Xi'an. Met and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, city tour begins with a visit to the Shaanxi Museum - a large modern museum of the national level. Then move on to the Great Mosque, the biggest and most preserved complete Chinese existent mosque. It was first built at the Tianbao first year (742 years) during Tang Dynasty. Back to your hotel.
Day 7 Xian
After breakfast at hotel, have an excursion to the Terra-cotta Army - a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old terra-cotta Army of China' First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. After lunch, drive back to the city center and visit the Xian City Wall, a symbol of great significance of the famous historic cultural city of Xian. Back to your hotel. After having the local flavor - Dumpling Dinner, enjoy Tang Dynasty Show in the evening. Transferred back to your hotel.
Day 8 Xian to Beijing by Flight
Take morning flight for Beijing. Arrival met and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Free for the rest of the day.
Day 9 Beijing
Starting the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the "Forbidden City" that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch, continue to visit Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. Back to hotel.
Day 10 Beijing
After breakfast, have an excursion to Badaling Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, continue to visit Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening.
Day 11 Depart From Beijing
Transfer to airport for departure.
