Day 1 Beijing to Datong

Arrive in Beijing. You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Datong

After breakfast, we fly to Datong, Shanxi Province. Tour Yungang Grottoes. Over 50,000 figures are contained in the 21 major and 32 smaller caves. You will also tour the Nine Dragon Screen, a 50-yard long Ming Dynasty mosaic of glazed tiles.

Day 3 Datong to Mt. Wutai

Hanging Monastery. It was originally built more than 1400 years ago. There are 40 halls and pavilions in all. They were built along the contours of the cliffs using the natural hollows and out crops for support. The buildings rest on timbers jutting out from the cliff, their weight further supported by vertical beams. And then you will tour the Wooden Pagoda of Yingxian County, the oldest and largest pagoda of China. Enjoy the Vegetarian food dinner.

Day 4 Mt. Wutai

Mt. Wutai is one of the sacred Buddhist mountains of China. It is actually a cluster of five peaks of which the northern peak, Yemenfeng, is just over 3000 meters high and is known as the roof of northern China. In the afternoon you will visit Yan Xishan's former residence.

Day 5 Mt. Wutai to Taiyuan to Chengdu

You will visit Bishan Temple, Jifu Temple. Drive to Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province. You will tour Twin-Pagoda Temple, built in the Ming Dynasty. Ascend the pagoda, you may have a bird-eyed view of the city. Also you will visit Congshan Temple. Fly to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Temple.

Day 6 Chengdu to Leshan to Mt. Emei

Drive to Leshan. You will tour the Grand Buddha and Linyun Temple. The Buddha is 71 meters high, carved into a cliff-face overlooking the confluence of the Dadu and Min Rivers. It qualifies as the largest Buddha in the world. Finish sightseeing at Leshan, before we drive to Emeishan, enjoy the local cuisine dinner - Tofu Banquet. Drive to Mt. Emei. Upon arrival you will visit the Baoguo Temple built in the period of 1573 to 1620 during the Ming Dynasty and the Fuhu Temple, Mt. Emei's largest temple for nuns and first built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907).

Day 7 Mt. Emei to Chengdu to Hefei

The scenic Mt. Emei is well-known for the sunrise, seas of cloud, the light of the Buddha and the sacred lantern. View the sunrise at the Golden Summit, take a chairlift to Jieyin Temple and then take a 20-minute walk to Leidongping. Drive to the Wannian Temple ( up and down by chairlift), visit the temple. Drive back to Chengdu. Fly to Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province.

Day 8 Hefei to Mt. Jiuhua

Drive to Mt. Jiuhua, one of the four Buddhist mountains in China. It is reputed as "the Fairy City of Buddhist Kingdom ". It has attracted thousands of tourists and pilgrims by its splendid Buddhist culture and natural landscape. After lunch, You will visit Huacheng Temple, the first temple of Mt. Jiuhua, Qiyuan Temple, Jiuhua Street and Tonghui Monastery.

Day 9 Mt. Jiuhua

In the morning go to the Mingyuan scenic area by bus and then go to Tiantai Peak by cable car. Visit the Ancient Doctrine Terrace, Guanyin Peak, Natural Eager Listening to scriptures, Golden Turtle, Tiantai Temple, Fifteen Peaks. When it is clear up, view Mt. Huangshan in the south like the screen and Yangtze River in the north like the line. Then go down the mountain by cable car. Visit the Phoenix Pine known as the first pine of the world, Nunneries in the Mingyuan Scenic area, the Precious Hall of the Bodhisattva Incarnate and Dizang Temple.

Day 10 Mt. Jiuhua to Hefei to Shanghai

Walk to the Centenarian Palace. You may witness the incarnation of Monk Wuxia, Five-Hundred-Arhats Hall, Dongya Temple. Walk down the mountain and drive to Qingyang County. After lunch, we drive back to Hefei and take a express train to Shanghai.

Day 11 Shanghai to Mt. Putuo

Take a fast boat to Mt. Putuo. People have given beautiful names to Mt. Putuo: Buddhist Paradise on the Sea, Land of Peach Blossoms and Mount of immortals on the Sea. You will visit Puji Temple, the largest temple of the mountain and Fayu Temple.

Day 12 Mt. Putuo to Shanghai

Today you will visit Fanyin Cave, Purple Bamboo Forest, God of Mercy Cave, and Huiji Temple. Huiji Temple is located on the summit and is very quiet. It has a great influence in the Southeast Asia although it is not big. Take a fast boat back to Shanghai.

Day 13 Shanghai

After breakfast, you are transferred to airport for your return flight back to your home. You will be in the United States the same day. End of tour.

All of the tour packages exclude the international airfares. We suggest you can book it one your own. You can compare the price between OTAs (Expedia, Priceline, Sky scanner...) and the airlines. When you have a confirmed date, set alarm and compare it always.
As the China Visa, we cannot apply for you as we are an China inbound travel company. However, we can send you our invitation letter with our company's official seal to you after you booked the tour from us, which could assist you to get China Visa from China embassy easily. Usually, we suggest you to apply the visa about one month or one month and a half before your travel date.
For the breakfast, it is offered by the hotel you stay, usually Chinese and Western buffet breakfast. As for the lunch, we offer 80RMB per person for a standard Chinese meal at a nice tourist restaurant. If you want to order other kind of meals, such as vegetarian, Muslim meals, Indian Meals, please let your trip consultant know. Dinner usually will be left for you to choose the food you prefer. Our guide will help you to balance each meal such as your taboo, your preference and avoid repeated food. You have to pay for the extra cost if you want to take better or more. The meals on Yangtze Cruise are fixed Chinese and Western Buffet.
All the hotels can be replaced by your favorite ones or you can book your own hotels. And the hotel room we offered here usually is standard with twin beds. If you want to have king-size bed room or suite, please let your trip advisor know. Besides, all the accommodation are quoted on two persons sharing one room. The room supplement must be paid if you want to have a single room.
* Most hotels we offered in our tour package have WIFI in the lobby, and some of which have WIFI in hotel rooms. If you need the WIFI in your room, please make sure with your trip advisor.
We have non-shopping private tour and tour with carefully selected shops. For tour with shops, the price will be lower, and you will enter one or two shops in every tourist city. The shops could be jade, silk, pearl, Chinese tea etc., all of which have strong China's character and is worthy to buy. Each shop will take you around 45 minutes. We promise there is no compulsory consumption at all. You get the situation in your hands.
* Department stores, supermarkets, boutiques, hotel and restaurants in most cities of China do accept the credit card with the sigh of MasterCard, VISA and JCB. However, it does generate commission charge. Please check the regulations with your bank manager.
All domestic flight we offered is the economic class, which you can carry one hand-on luggage no more than 5 kg for free. The total of free registered luggage is no more than 20kg. Excess luggage will charge you some extra fees, be aware of that. The free registered luggage allowance in China domestic train is 20kg.
The insurance provided by us is called Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance, which covers accidents occurring during the activities arranged by travel agency. It does not cover mishaps or physical problems occurring outside the guided tour period or caused by clients themsevles, so we highly suggest you purchase the full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin.
For group of 1-4 passengers, recommend US$ 4-8 per tourist per day for guide, and US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide; for group of 5 and above, recommend US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide, and US$2-4 per tourist per day for driver. Besides, we highly recommend you to tip every day to encourage better service from them in the next coming days. However, if you have genuine reason not to tip, don't.
Usually, the deposit of tour package accounts for 30% of the total quotation, and the balance should be paid 30 days before your tour date.
