13 Days China Tour to Enjoy Ethnic Minorities Culture in Southeastern China
Tour Route: Beijing, Lijiang, Dali, Kunming
Our guide and driver will take our greeting to you. Then they will transfer you to the hotel and you can have a rest.
Day 2 Beijing
After breakfast at your hotel, start your tour with the visit to Temple of Heaven. Then , the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world and the Forbidden City, the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty.
After Chinese lunch at a nice restaurat, you are going to visit Summer Palace, originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty. Then, pay a visit to Traditional Chinese Medicine Shop(no more than 40 minutes). Back to your hotel.
Day 3 Beijing
Half day excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall, the most beautiful section of the all 5 sections of the Great Wall in Beijing. The hike takes about 2-3 hours. Head back to the downtown Beijing. After lunch, you are going to visit Longdi Jade Shop. After dinner in your hotel, you will be transferred to Red Theater to enjoy Kungfu Show.
Day 4 Beijing
After breakfast at your hotel, start your tour with the visit to Nanluoguilang Alley, one of Beijing's typical ancient alleys to enjoy old structures. By way of Bird Nest and Water Cube to enjoy Beijing Hutong Rickshaw tour. Sitting in a rickshaw, the means of transport in the Qing Dynasty, you can see the ancient Beijing lanes and quadrangle houses that have been preserved for 700 years.
After lunch, visit Yonhegong Tibetan Lama Temple, which has been active since it was converted to Buddhism temple from the residence of the crown price Yinzhen who later became Emperor Yong Zheng, the third emperor of the Qing Dynasty. When tour is over, you will be transferred back to your hotel by tour guide and driver, free on your own at the rest of the day.
Day 5 Beijing to Lijiang
Fly from Beijing to Lijiang.
Visit Lijiang ancient town.
Enjoy Lishui Jinsha evening performance.
Lijiang Ancient Town, Being an AAAAA level scenic spot, the Lijiang Ancient Town is the hinge of garrison culture and economic communication of the Han culture, Tibetan culture, Bai culture, Naxi since the ancient times and it is the the important town and military strategic position of the southern silk road and the “tea hourse ancient road”. Long-term concurrent blend, concurrent multiple culture and sedimentary deposits of its long history has formed unique national culture represented by naxi ethnic culture.
Day 6 Lijiang
Tour Yufeng Temple, Baisha village mural, and Shuhe ancient town.
Yufeng Temple, shows a distinctive and conjunct architectural style of Han Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism and the local Naxi Dongba Religion due to the cultural communion between different minorities and different areas in the Qing Dynasty.
Day 7 Lijiang
Visit Black Dragon Pool, Dongba Culture Museum, and Wood House.
Dongba Culture Museum has a collection of over 10,000 antique items that are great in cultural and historical value, including 42 items at national level and more than 2,500 items as Dongba cultural relics. It is the biggest cultural relic museum for Dongba.
Day 8 Lijiang to Dali
Deluxe tour bus from Lijiang to Dali (4 hours)
Visit Dali ancient town, is home to the ethnic Bai people. It is a picturesque little town with plenty of atmosphere. The old town, surrounded by the remains of the Ming city walls, is characterized by cobbled lanes and stone houses.
Day 9 Dali
Visit Dali Three Pagodas, Cangshan Erhai Lake, and Bai houses, Shopping in Dali.
Erhai Lake, Located about 2 kilometers east of Dali, Erhai Lake is the largest highland lake next to Dianchi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. It means, 'sea shaped like an ear'. It is like a crescent lying between Cangshan and Dali city as seen from Cangshan Mount.
Day 10 Dali to Kunming

Visit Yuantong Temple and the Flower and Birds Market.
Yuantong Temple is at the foot of Yuantong Hill in the northern part of Kunming. With a history of more than 1,200 years, it is the grandest as well as the most important Buddhist temple in Yunnan Province.
Day 11 Kunming
Deluxe tour bus to the Stone Forest (1.5 hours), which has the typical karst topography (area of limestone terrain) according to geologists. It consists of numerous stone peaks, pillars, and stalagmites rising out of the ground extending high toward the sky.
Day 12 Kunming
Tour Day tour of Golden Temple, Grand View Pavilion, and Minority village,
Enjoy Yunnan Impression evening performances.
Golden Temple, called the Taoist Taihe Palace (Hall of Supreme Harmony), which is the largest copper temple in China. Its alternate name is the Tongwa Temple (Bronze Tile Temple) or Golden Temple.
Day 13 Depart from Kunming
After breakfast in hotel, you will be transferred to airport and take flight back to home. Your tour ends. More activities, such as pay a visit to welfare house, add more cites, please contact with your trip advisor.
