After you arrive in Beijing, our local guide will pick you up and then drive to hotel for a good rest.
Day 2 Beijing
A buffet breakfast & real fresh coffee will kick start your day. Your private guide will be on time and waiting in arrivals.
First stop, Tiananmen Square. It is the third largest city square in the world. It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several important events in Chinese history. (30 minutes)
Next visit the Forbidden City, which is 24 emperor's palace in Dynasty Ming and Qing. It is called Gu Gong in Chinese, located in the Center of Beijing. It is the ancient palace which has the largest scale, most magnificent, and best reservation in the world. (2 hour)
Explore the construction art and royal dignity in the largest, most beautiful and exquisite imperial garden--Summer Palace. (90 minutes)

Day 3 Beijing
In the morning, you will be driven to the best known section of the Great Wall--Mutianyu Great Wall. Be a hero to hike to the top of the Wall. You may pay extra to take a cable car. (2 hours)
After lunch, visit Dingling Tomb, the most famous one of the 13 Ming Tombs . It is the mausoleum of Emperor Yongle who was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. (1 hour)
On the way back to the downtown area, while passing by the Bird's Nest, also called the Olympic National Stadium, we will make a brief stop for you to take some pictures of the huge nest.
Day 4 Beijing to Xian
Explore the fascinating Hutong neighborhoods. Beijing's oldest Hutongs were constructed during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Your tour will take you through some of the best-preserved Hutong neighborhoods, which represented the history, culture and lifestyle of old Beijing. After a special homemade lunch at a local family residence in the Hutong Lane area, your family can learn how to make your own kites under professional instructions, and then fly your handmade kites with others at the Temple of Heaven which is China's largest temple and altar. It is often regarded as the most recognizable symbol of China.
Early this evening, get onboard a luxury express train for your overnight journey to Xian.

First site to visit today is Shaanxi Historical Museum, where over 300,000 invaluable historical items are on exhibition. (1.5 hours)
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda-- the very important Buddhism temple in Xian. (1 hour)
No Tricks (Big/Little) Pagoda –Other companies and large tour operators may take you to Small Wild Goose Pagoda(free admission) instead of the Big Wild Pagoda. We will never do that.
Ride a rental bike to along the Ancient City Wall--the best preserved ancient city wall in China. (1 hour)

Day 6 Xian
Embark on an amazing historical and cultural adventure today and begin with an exploration at the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, where you will find lifelike terracotta soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons created more than 2,000 years ago to guard the First emperor's tomb. Their vibrant painted details have worn away over time due to weathering, thus revealing their original earthy color.
In the afternoon, continue to visit the Great Mosque, a place where the local Muslims attend worship ceremony.
After that, you will have a local family visit and a la carte dinner will be arranged at the visited home to taste the authentic home cooked dishes. If you are interested in learning to cook Chinese food, you can choose your preferred dishes in the menu of our Chinese food cooking class. The host will prepare the ingredients beforehand and then teach you step by step when you come to the home.
Day 7 Xian to Chengdu
Wrap up your amazing experiences in Xian and be prepared for your new wonderful adventures while you fly to Chengdu; have your cameras ready to capture all the precious moments! After lunch, visit the Chengdu Children's Palace where you could learn the basic techniques of Chinese calligraphy and landscape painting; certainly a fun activity for both adults and children.

We will arrange you to visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and see the pandas in the early morning. Every morning at about 8:30 to 09:00, the breeders will begin to feed the pandas. At that time all the pandas will come out for the breakfast. It is the very good chance for you to see more pandas, take pictures of them and also observe their own distinctive manners of eating bamboos. You will definitely be impressed.
After that, you will proceed to visit Jinsha Site Museum in the afternoon. Covering an area of 5 square kilometers, it is the historical remains of the Shang and Zhou dynasties (1700BC-221BC) focusing on the cultural relics' exhibit and the sacrificial site.
Day 9 Chengdu to Nanchang
Depart Chengdu and travel to Nanchang for an orphanage visit. Your guide from us will sensitively and carefully assist your family as you embark on this most meaningful portion of your return trip. On this initial day of the city visit, one can spend time strolling the area and absorbing a sense of the city and locale.

After breakfast, our guide will transfer you to the SWI (orphanage) city, visit your child's home orphanage and meet with people related to your child's adoption. If you desire, host a lunch or dinner for the orphanage director and staff. Explore the local area with your guide. If needed, locate and visit the place where your child was found or visit your child's former foster family (if applicable and pending special permission). Our guide will escort you back to the provincial capital city or overnight in the SWI city.

This morning take some final glimpses around your child's province to capture your special memories. At late afternoon, depart for Shanghai by air

Begin your adventure with a relaxing walk along the Bund near the Huang Pu River. Then visit the Yuyuan Garden and enjoy its intricately designed pathways, pavilions, koi stocked pools and quiet courtyards; then pass by the shops and restaurants in YuYuan Bazaar on your way to lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Jade Buddha Temple. As you enter the temple grounds, you might hear prayers of the monks and glimpse the smoke of incense curling toward the sky.
