After you arrive in Guangzhou, our local guide will pick you up and then drive to hotel for a good rest.
Day 2 Guangzhou to Guilin
After breakfast, tour around Shamian Island: stop at the medical clinic where adoption medical exams are conducted and visit the photo shop where your child's visa photo was taken.
In the afternoon, take another trip down memory lane when you visit the American Consulate. Your guide will escort you to a local park where you can linger and relax while enjoying a story-time of traditional Chinese folktales to deepen your understanding of the rich cultural heritage of your child.
Take the late afternoon flight to Guilin.
Day 3 Guilin to Yangshuo to Guilin
After breakfast, embark on a scenic cruise along the Li River and enjoy a delicious lunch onboard. The landscape of Guilin is noted as the most gorgeous in China, with sparkling clear waters and magnificent green hills; you will see fishermen fishing with their trained cormorant birds occasionally as well.
Have fun cycling in the countryside of Yangshuo to see Chinese rural life up close.
Yangshuo Countryside Cycling: See the poetic natural scenery of Yangshuo's countryside. Biking alongside the paddy fields and orchards that surround the famous mountains will give a fascinating insight into life in rural China.

Day 4 Guilin to Chengdu
Your guide will be waiting for in the lobby of your hotel, ready to guide you around the star sights of Guilin by private vehicle.
Elephant Trunk Hill: It is the symbol of Guilin and got its name because its shape resembles an elephant with its trunk drinking from the Li River.
Reed Flute Cave: The cave is regarded as the most impressive cave in Guilin. The bizarrely-shaped limestone formations look fantastic under colorful lights.
Then visit Seven Star Park. With elegant mountains, miraculous stone forest, deep and serene valleys, valued cultural relics, clear water and plentiful animals and plants, Seven Star Park becomes very popular since the Sui (581-618) and Tang (618-907) Dynasties. It got its name from the seven peaks that are supposed to resemble the star pattern of the Big Dipper constellation.
Then take flight from Guilin to Chengdu. Check in the hotel and have a good rest.
Meals: Breakfast, LunchDay 5 Chengdu to Urumqi
We will arrange you to visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and see the pandas in the early morning. Every morning at about 8:30 to 09:00, the breeders will begin to feed the pandas. At that time all the pandas will come out for the breakfast. It is the very good chance for you to see more pandas, take pictures of them and also observe their own distinctive manners of eating bamboos. You will definitely be impressed.
After that, you will proceed to visit Jinsha Site Museum in the afternoon. Covering an area of 5 square kilometers, it is the historical remains of the Shang and Zhou dynasties (1700BC-221BC) focusing on the cultural relics' exhibit and the sacrificial site.
Take flight from Chengdu to Urumqi and have a good rest in the hotel.
Meals: Breakfast, LunchDay 6 Orphanage City in Urumqi
After breakfast, our guide will transfer you to the SWI (orphanage) city, visit your child's home orphanage and meet with people related to your child's adoption. If you desire, host a lunch or dinner for the orphanage director and staff. Explore the local area with your guide. If needed, locate and visit the place where your child was found or visit your child's former foster family (if applicable and pending special permission). Our guide will escort you back to the provincial capital city or overnight in the SWI city.
Day 7 Urumqi to Xian
This morning, you will take a boat trip on Heavenly Lake. Later, learn something about beautiful Xinjiang at Xinjiang Museum.
In the afternoon, you will get to the International Bazaar, symbolizes the boom of Sinkiang's commerce and tourism. It is the landscape architecture as well as landmark architecture. At night, you will attend a party where you can sample Xinjiang's widely known roast lamb.
Then fly from Urumqi to Xian and check in your hotel.
Day 8 Xian
First site to visit today is Shaanxi Historical Museum, where over 300,000 invaluable historical items are on exhibition. (1.5 hours)
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda-- the very important Buddhism temple in Xian. (1 hour)
No Tricks (Big/Little) Pagoda –Other companies and large tour operators may take you to Small Wild Goose Pagoda(free admission) instead of the Big Wild Pagoda. We will never do that.
Ride a rental bike to along the Ancient City Wall--the best preserved ancient city wall in China. (1 hour)

Day 9 Xian to Beijing
Embark on an amazing historical and cultural adventure today and begin with an exploration at the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, where you will find lifelike terracotta soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons created more than 2,000 years ago to guard the First emperor's tomb. Their vibrant painted details have worn away over time due to weathering, thus revealing their original earthy color.
In the afternoon, continue to visit the Great Mosque, a place where the local Muslims attend worship ceremony.
Then transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Beijing. After you arrive in Beijing, our guide will pick you up and drive to hotel.
Day 10 Beijing
A buffet breakfast & real fresh coffee will kick start your day. Your private guide will be on time and waiting in arrivals.
First stop, Tiananmen Square. It is the third largest city square in the world. It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several important events in Chinese history. (30 minutes)
Next visit the Forbidden City, which is 24 emperor's palace in Dynasty Ming and Qing. It is called Gu Gong in Chinese, located in the Center of Beijing. It is the ancient palace which has the largest scale, most magnificent, and best reservation in the world. (2 hour)
Explore the construction art and royal dignity in the largest, most beautiful and exquisite imperial garden--Summer Palace. (90 minutes)

Day 11 Beijing
In the morning, you will be driven to the best known section of the Great Wall--Mutianyu Great Wall. Be a hero to hike to the top of the Wall. You may pay extra to take a cable car. (2 hours)
After lunch, visit Dingling Tomb, the most famous one of the 13 Ming Tombs . It is the mausoleum of Emperor Yongle who was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. (1 hour)
On the way back to the downtown area, while passing by the Bird's Nest, also called the Olympic National Stadium, we will make a brief stop for you to take some pictures of the huge nest.
Day 12 Beijing
In early morning visit the Temple of Heaven, the sacred altar for worshiping the God of Heaven in the world. Watch local people playing Taichi morning exercises. (90 minutes)
Take a rickshaw ride to visit old Hutong, you can see the ancient Beijing lanes and quadrangle houses that have been preserved for 700 years. (90 minutes)
Next, you may pay a visit to the Nanluoguxiang.
Day 13 Depart from Beijing
Today you will be driven to the airport for your departure flight, tour ends.
