Pick up from hotel at the appointed time. Day trip begins.
Explore Tiananmen Square, including Tiananmen Rostrum, the symbolic landmark of Beijing and China and other main buildings such as National Museum of China, Great Hall of the People, parliament building of China, etc. (30 minutes)
Afterwards, visit the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace complex in the world. (2 hours)
After lunch, visit Summer Palace, the largest, most beautiful and exquisite imperial garden in the world. (90 minutes)

Day 3 Beijing
In the morning, you will be driven to the best known section of the Great Wall--Mutianyu Great Wall. Be a hero to hike to the top of the Wall. You may pay extra to take a cable car. (2.5 hours)
After lunch, visit Dingling Tomb, the most famous one of the 13 Ming Tombs . It is the mausoleum of Emperor Yongle who was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. (1 hour)
On the way back to the downtown area, while passing by the Bird's Nest, also called the Olympic National Stadium, we will make a brief stop for you to take some pictures of the huge nest.
Day 4 Beijing-Xian by train
In early morning visit the Temple of Heaven, the sacred altar for worshiping the God of Heaven in the world. Watch local people playing Taichi morning exercises. (90 minutes)
Take a rickshaw ride to visit old Hutong, you can see the ancient Beijing lanes and quadrangle houses that have been preserved for 700 years. (90 minutes)
Then take an overnight train journey to Xian. Our local guide will pick up and transfer to your hotel.
Day 5 Xi'an
First site to visit today is Shaanxi Historical Museum, where over 300,000 invaluable historical items are on exhibition. (1.5 hours)
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda-- the very important Buddhism temple in Xian. (1 hour)
No Tricks (Big/Little) Pagoda –Other companies and large tour operators may take you to Small Wild Goose Pagoda(free admission) instead of the Big Wild Pagoda. We will never do that.
Ride a rental bike to along the Ancient City Wall--the best preserved ancient city wall in China. (1 hour)

Day 6 Xi'an to Chengdu
Embark on an amazing historical and cultural adventure today and begin with an exploration at the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, where you will find lifelike terracotta soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons created more than 2,000 years ago to guard the First emperor's tomb. Their vibrant painted details have worn away over time due to weathering, thus revealing their original earthy color.
In the afternoon, continue to visit the Great Mosque, a place where the local Muslims attend worship ceremony.
Then depart Xian and fly to Chengdu. Our local guide will pick up and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 7 Chengdu-Chongqing
We will arrange you to visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and see the pandas in the early morning. Every morning at about 8:30 to 09:00, the breeders will begin to feed the pandas. At that time all the pandas will come out for the breakfast. It is the very good chance for you to see more pandas, take pictures of them and also observe their own distinctive manners of eating bamboos. You will definitely be impressed.
After that, transfer to the railway station and catch a high speed train from Chengdu to Chongqing.

Your orphanage visitation typically includes a lunch meeting with the orphanage director and staff. If your family wishes to be in touch with the foster family, our company can also arrange a time for you to reunite if contact information is available. After lunch, you may explore your child's finding site. Record the day's events in your journal or just relax with your family this evening.

Day tour to explore the Dazu Grottoes and Ciqikou Old Town
Dazu Grottoes (Baodingshan) (2 hours): Dazu is a county under the jurisdiction of Chongqing Municipality. It is 83 kilometers to the west of the Chongqing metropolitan area and 256 kilometers to the east of Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province. The Dazu Grottoes spread across more than 75 sites in the county, and contain over 50,000 stone sculptures carved from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). They are mainly located on Baoding (Treasure Peak) Mountain, Beishan (Northern) Mountain, Shimen (Stone Gate) Mountain, Nanshan (Southern) Mountain, and Shizhuan Mountain.
Ciqikou Old Town (1.5 hours): This lively old area has been partly restored, and remains an authentic and busy community. The old wooden houses and narrow streets furthest from the river are mostly unimproved, closer to the river there are craft and souvenir shops, teahouses and music, and lots of local food and snacks. The locals certainly love their food – this is a good chance to try some.

In the morning, announcement on itinerary. Then Shore excursion to Fengdu City, Participate activities on board; then Sailing through the Qutang Gorge. In the evening, the Captain's Welcome Party will be held, after welcome dinner, enjoy the Singing & Dancing Concert.

Sailing along China Yangtze River. You will sail through the Wu gorge, Shore Excursion For Shennong Stream or mini three gorges. Then after Farewell Dinner, enjoy the Singing & Dancing Concert. Afterwards, Pass the ship locks of the Three Gorges Dam.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerDay 12 Yichang-Shanghai
After breakfast, shore an excursion to the Three Gorges Dam. After lunch, Sailing through the Xiling gorge; Then avrriving at Yichang, check-out then driven to Yichang airport, visit the Yichang Museum if time permits.
Then see you off for a flight to Shanghai.

Day 13 Shanghai
Explore the Jade Buddha Temple, a venerable and famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai (40 minutes).
Then you will visit Yuyuan Garden - a place of peace and comfort in the heart of bustling Shanghai (1 hour).
Relax yourself in the Bund, to enjoy the beautiful night scenery of this famous Oriental city(40 minutes). Have a look at the Oriental Pearl Tower, the highest TV tower in Aisa.
Day 14 Depart Shanghai
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the airport, your grand China tour ends.
