14 Days Yunnan & Guizhou Minorities Culture Standard Tour

After you arrive in Beijing, our local guide will pick you up and then drive to hotel for a good rest.

Pick up service by your tour guide and driver in the morning.

First visit the Tiananmen Square including Tiananmen Rostrum, the symbolic landmark of Beijing and China and other main buildings such as National Museum of China, Great Hall of the People, parliament building of China, etc. (30 minutes)

Afterwards, visit the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace complex in the world. (2 hours)

After lunch, you will visit Summer Palace, the largest, most beautiful and exquisite imperial garden in the world. (1.5 hours)

When tour is over, you will be transferred back to your hotel by tour guide and driver, free on your own at the rest of the day.

First visit Badaling Great Wall, which is the best preserved section of the Great Wall. Climb up the Great Wall, well-known for the longest defense wall in the world. What a great experience! You will become “a true man, heroes and heroines on the Great Wall” as the old Chinese saying goes. (Cable Car is optional). (2 hours)

After lunch, visit Ming Tombs – Changling, the mausoleum of Emperor Yongle who was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty.  He was the most famous historical figure among the Ming Emperors. (1 hour)

Then you will be driven back to your hotel.

Pick up service by your tour guide and driver in the morning.

Early travel to Temple of Heaven, the largest building complex for worshiping the God of Heaven in the world.  You may see the Taichi exercises(1.5 hours).

Then experience the Hutong by rickshaw. Sitting in a rickshaw, the means of transport in the Qing Dynasty, you can see the ancient Beijing lanes and quadrangle houses that have been preserved for 700 years. (1.5 hours)

After these activities, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Kunming in the late afternoon.

Upon your arrival in Kunming, you will be picked up by our local guide and taken to your hotel.

 Yunan Province have many popular destinations for China travels.

In the morning, you will be picked up from hotel and taken to the airport for the morning flight to Lijiang.

After your arrival, you will be pcked up by our local guide and begin your Lijiang tour.

Firstly, visit Baisha Village, one of the first settlements of Naxi ancestors. 

Then you will appreciate the most famous Baisha Murals. Baisha murals are mostly from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Among the 55 existing murals, the largest one is at the Dabaoji Hall of Baisha. Most Baisha murals depict religious stories, and one characteristic is to combine several legends into one picture.

Next you will visit the Rock Joseph's Former Residence in Yuhu Village.  Yuhu village is called “wuluken” in the Naxi language which means ‘village at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain’.

After that you will proceed to the Square Street of Lijiang Old Town, a well-preserved old city of ethnic minorities with brilliant culture.

When today's tour ends, you will be transfered to your hotel.

Full day for free on your own.  You can spend your time wandering around the ancient town and have a chat with the local minority people. Yunnan has a lot of minority groups. Naxi is an ancient nationality and mainly lives in Lijiang. Naxi people have their own language, characters and cultures which are now open up to travelers from all over the world.

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and transfered to take a morning flight back to Kunming.

After your arrival, you will meet our local guide and then visit the Stone Forest at Lunan. It covers an area of 400 square kilometers (96,000 acres) and includes both large and small stone forests, as well as many other scenic spots.

Then you will be transfered to your hotel to have a good rest. 

In the morning, you will be pciked up from your hoyel and driven to Xingyi, the southwest gate of entering Guizhou province.

If time permitting, you will have a chance to visit the Local Tobacco Farm and a Local Country Market on the jouney.

After your arriavl in Xingyi, you will visit the Local Folk Museum of the Wedding Rituals.  It is the only museum of ethnic wedding theme in the country and presents the customs of Miao Minority with the rich collections of cultural relic and wedding items.

Then you will be transfered to your hotel.

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel.

You will visit the Forest of Thousands of Mountain Peaks. As you can see, it seems like a forest of thousands of peaks. But different from the Stone Forest in Kunming, it presents a total different subuliform Karst Landscape.

Then you will visit the Maling Gorge. It is 75 kilometers long, 50-150 meters wide and 120-280 meters deep. 

Next hike Heaven-star Gallery. Heaven-star Gallery is the most splendid part of the gorge and takes 2 hours' hiking.

After today's activities, you will be transfered bakc to your hotel.

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Huangguoshu(about 3 hours' drive) .

On route, explore local culture of Zuoqi Black Miao Village. You will discover the big earring, black turban and black cotton jacket of the local women.  Next proceed to the Buyi People Village to see their traditional way of spinning and weaving.

Then you will be transfered to your hotel.

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide and driver.

You will visit Huangguoshu Waterfall. It is 77.8 meters high and 101 meters wide. It has been recorded by Guinness Book of World Records as the largest waterfalls in the world.

Then drive to Guiyang to visit the Jiaxiu Pavilion, the landmark of Guiyang and the Qingyan Old Town once a very important military town which was constructed over 600 hundreds years ago.

After today's activities, you will be driven to your hotel.

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide and driver.

Drive to Kaili to visit the local life style of Miao Village including the local family visiting and the Wooden Stilt House.

Drive back to Guiyang airport and fly to Shanghai.

After your arriavl in Shanghai, our guide and driver will pick you up and help you check in the hotel.

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel.

Firstle explore the Jade Buddha Temple. It is a must-see because it provides a great sanctuary from the active city of Shanghai(40 minutes).

Then have a discovery in the Yuyuan Garden, a famous classical garden with unique pavilions, halls, rock gardens and ponds(1 hour).

Next relax yourself in the Bund, a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai(40 minutes).

At last , have a look at the Oriental Pearl Tower.

After today's tour, you will be transfered back to your hotel.

Today you will be driven to the airport for your departure flight, tour ends.
