Temple of Heaven
With an area of about 2,700,000 sqm, Temple of Heaven was built in 1420 A. D during the Ming Dynasty, was used to pray for the Heaven by Emperors for good harvest.
Tiananmen Square
The largest city square in the world (440,000 square meters), it has great cultural significance as several key events happened here in history.
Forbidden City
With an area of 74 hectares, this rectangular imperial palace is the world's largest palace complex. It has stunning 9,999 rooms, 6-meter-deep moat and a 10-meter-high red wall.
Day 3 Beijing
Private escorted tour to the Great Wall, the Sacred Road and a photo stop at major Beijing Olympic venues.
Great Wall
It is a series of stone and earthen fortifications stretching more than ten thousand miles from west to east on the boundless area of Northern China. It is seen as a major architectural miracle in the world.
Day 4 Beijng to Harbin
Visit the Summer Palace, take a pedicab to Hutong to see local people’s life. Transfer to fly to Harbin, be met and transfer to check in Modern Hotel first opened by a French Jew- Y. A. Kaspe.
Summer Palace
Summer Palace, 12 km west of Beijing City, is the largest preserved imperial garden and a former summer retreat for emperors. It is also known as "Garden of Clear Ripples" for the beautiful Kunming Lake.
Day 5 Harbin
A visit to the once-established Jewish Community like the site of Jewish High School, bank and hospital. Then visit the Huangshan Jewish Cemetery.
Day 6 Harbin to Zhengzhou
Further explore he new synagogue of Jewish people, and see the history and cultural exhibition. Then take a flight to Zhengzhou. Be met and transfer to hotel.
Day 7 Zhengzhou to Kaifeng
Drive to Kaifeng, a thousand-year-old town, and was once the capital city of Northern Song Dynasty. The Jews began to reside in this town at that time. Visit a local family, then visit Kaifeng Museum, Judaic Exhibition and a Jewish Cemetery.
Day 8 Kaifeng to Dengfeng to Luoyang
Drive to visit Shaolin Temple, Dagoba Forest and Chinese Kung Fu performances. Then proceed to Luoyang.
Shaolin Temple
Shaolin Temple, in the region of Song Mountain, Dengfeng City, Henan Province, is reputed to be 'the Number One Temple under Heaven'. Included on UNESCO's World Cultural & Natural Heritage List in 2010, it is the cradle of the Chinese Zen Buddhism and the Shaolin Martial Arts such as Shaolin Cudgel.
Day 9 Luoyang
Visit Prince Mansion Park, Longmen Grottoes, local cave dwelling and have a walk at old city quarters.
Day 10 Luoyang to Xian
Take a morning train to Xian. Be met and transfer to visit Bell Tower, and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 11 Xian to Guilin
Transfer to visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Take an afternoon flight to Guilin.
Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum
The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the sight not to be missed by any visitors to China. They are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It is a cultural and history symbol of China, which is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum in Lintong, Xian, Shaanxi Province.
Day 12 Guilin to Yangshuo
Take a leisurely cruise down Li River, biking to the countryside to see the local farmer’s life and the stunning landscape.
Li River
Gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Water buffalo patrol the fields, peasants reap rice paddies, school kids and fisherman float by on bamboo rafts. With its breathtaking scenery and taste of a life far removed from the concrete metropolis, the scenery along the river become one of China's top tourist destinations.
Day 13 Yangshuo to Guilin to Shanghai
Transfer back to Guilin, visit Reed Flute Cave and have a walk around the Central Lake Park, and take an afternoon flight to Shanghai.
Reed Flute Cave
With its location five kilometers northwest of the downtown of Guilin, the Reed Flute Cave is a brilliant cave marked on almost all travel itineraries. The cave got its name from the verdant reeds growing outside it, with which people make flutes. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition.
Day 14 Shanghai
Visit Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum and the Jewish community in history.
Day 15 Shanghai
Visit Yu Garden and the shopping area around it, the Bund and Nanjing Road for your free shopping.
Yu Garden
Located in the Anren Street of Shanghai, Yuyuan Garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer named Pan Yunduan of the Ming Dynasty for his parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.
Bund
The Bund, which locates in the eastern part of Huangpu District and runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River, centres on a section of Zhongshan Road (East-1 Zhongshan Rd.) within the former Shanghai International Settlement. The most famous and attractive sights
Nanjing Road
Nanjing Road, which is the main shopping street of Shanghai in China and one of the world’s busiest shopping streets, contains two sections, Nanjing Road East and Nanjing Road West. It starts at the Bund in the east and ends in the west at the junction of Jing’an Temple and Yan’an West Street.
Day 16 Shanghai departure
Transfer to airport and fly to your next destination.
