Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

After you arrive in Beijing, our local guide will pick you up and then drive to hotel for a good rest.

Private escorted tour to Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City. Peking duck dinner at night.

Temple of Heaven
With an area of about 2,700,000 sqm, Temple of Heaven was built in 1420 A. D during the Ming Dynasty, was used to pray for the Heaven by Emperors for good harvest.

Tiananmen Square
The largest city square in the world (440,000 square meters), it has great cultural significance as several key events happened here in history.

Forbidden City
With an area of 74 hectares, this rectangular imperial palace is the world's largest palace complex. It has stunning 9,999 rooms, 6-meter-deep moat and a 10-meter-high red wall.

Day 3 Beijing

Private escorted tour to the Great Wall, and have a photo stop at the main venues of Beijing Olympic Games and visit Yonghe Lamasery.

Great Wall
It is a series of stone and earthen fortifications stretching more than ten thousand miles from west to east on the boundless area of Northern China. It is seen as a major architectural miracle in the world.

Yonghe Lamasery
Yonghe Lama Temple, located in the northeast corner of downtown Beijing, has more than 300 years of long imperial and Buddhist history. It boasts the largest wooden Buddha all over the world.

Day 4 Beijing to Datong

Visit the Summer Palace, and then transfer back to take a pedicab tour Hutong (Beijing’s traditional alleyways) to see the local people’s life. Then transfer to take an afternoon train to Datong (6 hours). Arrival in Datong around 21:45, be met and transfer to hotel.

Summer Palace
Summer Palace, 12 km west of Beijing City, is the largest preserved imperial garden and a former summer retreat for emperors. It is also known as "Garden of Clear Ripples" for the beautiful Kunming Lake.

Hutong
The word "hutong" comes from the word "hottog" which means "well" in Mongolian. Rednecks excavate a well and settle there. Hutong means a lane or alley, the passage formed by lines of siheyuan in which old Beijing residents live actually.

Day 5 Datong

Visit the famous Yungang Grottoes, Huayan Temple and Nine Dragon Screen.

Yungang Grottoes
With 252 caves and 51,000 Buddhist statues of 5th and 6th centuries, Yungang Grottoes represent the excellent achievement of Buddhist sculptural art of ancient China, and it is the largest among the four most famous ancient grotto complexes in China. Besides, it was listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 2001.

Datong Nine Dragon Screen Wall
The pattern of each of the nine dragons playing with a pearl with the sun and moon aside were carved in a very lifelike manner. The Yellow, blue, purple and white colors, which used to depict the writhing dragons, make the wall very enchanting.

Day 6 Datong to Wutai Mountains

Drive to visit Hanging Temple at Heng Mountain, then proceed to Wutai Mountain. Check in hotel.

Wutai Mountain
Located between Beijing and Inner Mongolia in Shanxi Province, Mount Wutai(Wutai shan) is one of China's four sacred Buddhist mountains(other three scared Buddhist mountains are E'mei Mountain, Jiuhua Mountain and Putuo Mountain)

Hanging Monastery
Hangs 50 meters above the ground on the cliff side of Mount Hengshan, Datong Hanging Monastery is the only one in China which enshrines three religions within one monastery. As the principal attraction of Hengshan Mountain, Hanging Monastery pays homage to Confucianism and Taoism as well as to Buddhism, with sculptures of Confucius and Lao-Tzu alongside sculptures of the founding father of Buddhism, Sakyamuni Buddha.

Day 7 Wutai Mountain to Taiyuan

Tour at Wutai Mountain to see the Buddhist temples here. Then transfer to Taiyuan

Day 8 Taiyuan to Pingyao to Xian

Drive to Pingyao ancient town, visit Qiao Family Courtyard House and Double Forest Temple. Transfer back to Taiyuan to board the train to Xian.

Day 9 Xian

Arrival in Xian in the morning, be met and transfer to hotel for breakfast and check-in. Then visit the Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Bell Tower.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Giant Wild Goose Pagoda or Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is located in the southern Xian, was a Buddhist pagoda built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty. Known as a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, it attracts numerous visitors for its fame in the Buddhist religion.

Day 10 Xian to Chengdu

Transfer to visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, take an afternoon flight to Chengdu. Be met and transfer to hotel.

Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum
The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the sight not to be missed by any visitors to China. They are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It is a cultural and history symbol of China, which is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum in Lintong, Xian, Shaanxi Province.

Day 11 Chengdu to Leshan to Emei Mountain

Drive to visit the largest stone-carved Buddha in the world at Leshan, then proceed to Emei Mountain. Overnight at mountain foot.

Mount Emei is one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China, and is traditionally regarded as the bodhimaa, or place of enlightenment, of the bodhisattva Samantabhadra.

Day 12 Emei Mountain to Chengdu

Take a cable car up to Wannian Temple, and see the scenic spots nearby, then walk down to see the wild monkeys on the way. Drive back to Chengdu.

Day 13 Chengdu to Hangzhou

Visit the Giant Panda Breeding Center, and Jinsha Site Museum, and take a late afternoon flight to Hangzhou. Be met and transfer to hotel.

Giant Panda Breeding Center
Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base was established in 1987, located in northern suburb of Chengdu, 10 km away from the urban area. Giant panda has become the rare and endangered wild animals. Base in order to establish the initial rescue of six from the wild giant panda based, has succeeded in captive giant panda population to about 70. Valuable information in giant panda museum, exhibits rich to recognize giant panda an excellent return to nature places.

Day 14 Hangzhou

Boating at West Lake, visit Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak, then see the Dragon Well tea plantation.

West Lake
Take out the latest version of note of RMB 1, and turn to the back. You see what? Yes, this is our topic today. It is one of the most well-known and picturesque places in China-West Lake.

Day 15 Hangzhou to Ningbo to Putuoshan

Transfer to take an express train to Ningbo, visit the Asaki Temple, and take a cruise to Putuoshan. Overnight here.

Putuoshan
Mt. Putuoshan locates on Zhoushan Island of Zhejiang Province off the east coast of China. With a total area of 12.5 square kilometers, Mt. Putuoshan takes most of the small rhomboidal land mass. There is a group of islands off the coast, and Zhoushan is the largest one. These islands come from the submerged mountains in the sea, and the islands rise steeply from the sea.

Day 16 Putuoshan

Tour to the temples at Putuoshan, then take an afternoon cruise to Shanghai. Be met and transfer to hotel.

Day 17 Shanghai

Full day visit in Shanghai to visit Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden, the Bund and Nanjing Road. Acrobatic show at night.

Jade Buddha Temple
Located in the western part of Shanghai, Jade Buddha Temple is a venerable and famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai. In 1882, Shanghai built an old temple to keep two jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen. However, the temple was destroyed during the revolution that overthrew the Qing Dynasty, so in 1928 on the present site a temple was built to put the two survived jade Buddha Statues, hence the name.

Yu Garden
Located in the Anren Street of Shanghai, Yuyuan Garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer named Pan Yunduan of the Ming Dynasty for his parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.

Bund
The Bund, which locates in the eastern part of Huangpu District and runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River, centres on a section of Zhongshan Road (East-1 Zhongshan Rd.) within the former Shanghai International Settlement. The most famous and attractive sights

Nanjing Road
Nanjing Road, which is the main shopping street of Shanghai in China and one of the world’s busiest shopping streets, contains two sections, Nanjing Road East and Nanjing Road West. It starts at the Bund in the east and ends in the west at the junction of Jing’an Temple and Yan’an West Street.

Day 18 Shanghai

Drive to a nearby water town - Zhujiajiao to witness the traditional life at Yangtze Delta. Free afternoon.

Zhujiajiao
Located in a suburb of Shanghai city, Zhujiajiao is an ancient water town well-known throughout the country, with a history of more than 1700 years. Covering an area of 47 square kilometers, the little fan-shaped town glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains.

As the China Visa, we cannot apply for you as we are an China inbound travel company. However, we can send you our invitation letter with our company's official seal to you after you booked the tour from us, which could assist you to get China Visa from China embassy easily. Usually, we suggest you to apply the visa about one month or one month and a half before your travel date.
For the breakfast, it is offered by the hotel you stay, usually Chinese and Western buffet breakfast. As for the lunch, we offer 80RMB per person for a standard Chinese meal at a nice tourist restaurant. If you want to order other kind of meals, such as vegetarian, Muslim meals, Indian Meals, please let your trip consultant know. Dinner usually will be left for you to choose the food you prefer. Our guide will help you to balance each meal such as your taboo, your preference and avoid repeated food. You have to pay for the extra cost if you want to take better or more. The meals on Yangtze Cruise are fixed Chinese and Western Buffet.
All the hotels can be replaced by your favorite ones or you can book your own hotels. And the hotel room we offered here usually is standard with twin beds. If you want to have king-size bed room or suite, please let your trip advisor know. Besides, all the accommodation are quoted on two persons sharing one room. The room supplement must be paid if you want to have a single room.
* Most hotels we offered in our tour package have WIFI in the lobby, and some of which have WIFI in hotel rooms. If you need the WIFI in your room, please make sure with your trip advisor.
We have non-shopping private tour and tour with carefully selected shops. For tour with shops, the price will be lower, and you will enter one or two shops in every tourist city. The shops could be jade, silk, pearl, Chinese tea etc., all of which have strong China's character and is worthy to buy. Each shop will take you around 45 minutes. We promise there is no compulsory consumption at all. You get the situation in your hands.
* Department stores, supermarkets, boutiques, hotel and restaurants in most cities of China do accept the credit card with the sigh of MasterCard, VISA and JCB. However, it does generate commission charge. Please check the regulations with your bank manager.
All domestic flight we offered is the economic class, which you can carry one hand-on luggage no more than 5 kg for free. The total of free registered luggage is no more than 20kg. Excess luggage will charge you some extra fees, be aware of that. The free registered luggage allowance in China domestic train is 20kg.
The insurance provided by us is called Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance, which covers accidents occurring during the activities arranged by travel agency. It does not cover mishaps or physical problems occurring outside the guided tour period or caused by clients themsevles, so we highly suggest you purchase the full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin.
For group of 1-4 passengers, recommend US$ 4-8 per tourist per day for guide, and US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide; for group of 5 and above, recommend US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide, and US$2-4 per tourist per day for driver. Besides, we highly recommend you to tip every day to encourage better service from them in the next coming days. However, if you have genuine reason not to tip, don't.
Usually, the deposit of tour package accounts for 30% of the total quotation, and the balance should be paid 30 days before your tour date.
