3 Days Hangzhou to Huangshan Tour by Bullet Train
Tour Route: Hangzhou, Huangshan, Hangzhou
Be arrival at Hangzhou East Railway Station on your own. Take the morning bullet train to Huangshan (1.5~2 hours). Met by our local English speaking tour guide and transfered to the Huangshan Hotel in Tunxi, Huangshan. Then, your guide will escort you to visit Huizhou Culture Museum and walking around Tunxi Ancient Street.
Meals: No MealsDay 2 Cable car up to Mount Huangshan
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred from central Huangshan City to the foot of the Yellow Mountain. The ride takes about 1 hour. To save energy and time, you will take a shuttle bus of the scenic area for 20 minutes to get to Yungu Cable Car. Round-trip cable cars are included, which is about 10 minutes for a single way, ascending you to starting point of the mountain sightseeing.
Taking a 0.2 km walk from Stalagmite Peak to Beginning-to-Believe-Peak. On the way, you can still enjoy the different views of pine trees and unknown peaks. Continue walking 1 km towards to another famous attraction – A Flower on the Tip of a Brush Pen. This 1 km walk is also quite interesting. Especially you could see some unique pine trees. Check in your hotel and you can have lunch here.
Later, you will start your afternoon sightseeing at Grand Canyon of West Sea.
Taking a 2km walk towards Grand Canyon of West Sea. You ramble along the stone paved roads winding under arched trees. You also passed Cloud Dispelling Pavilion before you get to the entrance to Grand Canyon of West Sea. Walk one or two circular paths down to the canyon depending the weather condition and your energy.
Return to your hotel. Go to bed early preparing for next morning's the first Light of the Morning (Dawn) if fine weather (don't forget to check the sunrise time from the hotel front desk - usually around 6:00am).
Day 3 Huangshan to Hangzhou by bullet train
Around 5:30am, after simple washing and putting on the winter jacket available in your room, hurry down and hike to nearby Refreshing Terrace by using flashlights, the best point to view the dawn and twilight in Huangshan. If you are lucky, you will catch the first sun light.
After breakfast and check out around 8:30am and begin 2-hour sightseeing at Dawn Pavilion, Refreshing Terrace and Stone Monkey Gazing over the Sea of Clouds.
Finishing all the sightseeing in Huangshan, have a 2km walk back to White Goose Telpher Station and take the cable car down the mountain.
Then your private guide and driver will escort you take a 40-minute driving to Hongcun Village . Hongcun Village is located at the foot of the southwest side of Mt. Huangshan, only 11kms away from Yixian town. It is a unique, buffalo-shaped ancient village. Hongcun Village was added to the list of the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in late 2000. It is also the location for the famous prize film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".
At the end of the tour, our guide will escort you to the Huangshan North Railway Station and take bullet train back to Hangzhou. Tour service ends.
