3 Days Huangshan Tour from Shanghai by High Speed Trains
Tour Route: Shanghai, Huangshan, ShanghaiBe arrival at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station on your own. Take a morning bullet train from Shanghai to Huangshan by yourself. We will book the ticket and offer the train information for you in advance.
Upon arrival in Huangshan, you will be met in the arrivals area by your local guide. After a warm welcome and brief introduction, take a private transfer to your hotel for assistance with check-in.
In the afternoon, your guide will escort you to visit the Tunxi Ancient Street or Xin’anjiang Riverfront Walk Scenic Spot.

After breakfast, drive about 1 hour from your Tunxi hotel to the foot of Huangshan mountain and take cable car up to mountain.
Descend the cable car, hike to your hotel in top of the mountain, on the way, you will visit Beginning-to-Believe-Peak, Black Tiger Pine, A Flower on the Tip of a Brush Pen
Check in your hotel and have your lunch. After rest in your hotel room, start your afternoon sightseeing at Grand Canyon of West Sea. It's down stairs all the way and some section are very steep and narrow, your guide will escort you for only a part of it. And enjoy sunset at Cloud-dispelling Pavilion
Then return to your hotel. Go to bed early preparing for next morning's the first Light of the Morning (Dawn) if fine weather (don't forget to check the sunrise time from the hotel front desk - usually around 6:00am).
Note:
1. We highly recommend letting your tour guide assit you on storage of your not-needed luggage in hotel of Tunxi, and just prepare a light backpack for exploring the mountains.
2. The food on the mountain is expensive, as all the food material is carried by local people. You may see the carriers while hiking. The meals on mountain top is about $17~$25 per person.
3. It needs a lot of energe to hike all the Grand Canyon of West Sea. Normally, the guide will escort you for only a part of it.
Day 3 Huangshan to Shanghai by High Speed Train
Sunrise on the Yellow Mountains: If weather permit, you will need to be an early bird if the weather is nice and you plan to see the sunrise at Yellow Mountain. You can find the sunrise times at your hotel, walk to Refreshing Terrace, which is near to your hotel. Please remember to bring the heavy coat in your hotel room if the weather is cold.
After enjoying the sunrise, you will go back to the hotel and have your breakfast. Later, you will take the cable car down the mountain and proceed to visit the Hongcun village, a beautiful ancient village frequented by painters capturing the blend of pools, willows, and ancient architecture on canvass.
Tour ends. Your tour guide will escort you to catch your train back to Shanghai.

Hi there. My husband and I will be in Shanghai at the end of January and were thinking of doing a tour to Mt Huangshan. Can you tell me which hotels you include in your tour? Also if you have available tour options leaving Shanghai late on 22.1.15 (3 day tour by train).
Given it will be winter, also wondering what sort of clothing and shoes we need to pack.
