Day 1 Arrival at Beijing

Arriving in Beijing, you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. After a short a break at your hotel, visit the Temple of Heaven ( 1.5 hours ), the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. The temple complex was constructed from 1406 to 1420 during the reign of the Yongle Emperor. Back to your hotel. Free for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Beijing

After breakfast at your hotel, have an excursion to the Mutainyu Great Wall ( 2 hours ). The Mutianyu section of Great Wall is located in Huairou district, about 80 km north from downtown Beijing. The Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowded than Badaling Great Wall. The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall has 22 original style watchtowers.

After lunch, you are transferred back to the downtown Beijing and visit the Forbidden City ( 2 hours ), the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, and now accommodate the Palace Museum. Then move on to Tiananmen Square ( 40 minutes ), the largest public square in the world. The Tiananmen Gate on the south of the Forbidden City was built in 1415 during the Ming Dynasty. Back to your hotel.

Day 3 Beijing Exit or free on your own

After breakfast, start your morning tour with the visit to the Summer Palace ( 2 hours ), originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty. It has numerous traditional architectures in the park including pavilions, bridges, terraces, temples, pagodas, corridors, and the famous marble boat. After lunch, head to the Olympic Green ( 40 minutes ) to to look at the outside of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Then, transferred to Beijing airport for departure or free activity on your own.

It is flexible to change the duration, attractions, starting and ending cities according to your interests. Also the tour can be extended or shorten as your preference, just let your trip consultant know.
All of the tour packages exclude the international airfares. We suggest you can book it one your own. You can compare the price between OTAs (Expedia, Priceline, Sky scanner...) and the airlines. When you have a confirmed date, set alarm and compare it always.
As the China Visa, we cannot apply for you as we are an China inbound travel company. However, we can send you our invitation letter with our company's official seal to you after you booked the tour from us, which could assist you to get China Visa from China embassy easily. Usually, we suggest you to apply the visa about one month or one month and a half before your travel date.
For the breakfast, it is offered by the hotel you stay, usually Chinese and Western buffet breakfast. As for the lunch, we offer 80RMB per person for a standard Chinese meal at a nice tourist restaurant. If you want to order other kind of meals, such as vegetarian, Muslim meals, Indian Meals, please let your trip consultant know. Dinner usually will be left for you to choose the food you prefer. Our guide will help you to balance each meal such as your taboo, your preference and avoid repeated food. You have to pay for the extra cost if you want to take better or more. The meals on Yangtze Cruise are fixed Chinese and Western Buffet.
All the hotels can be replaced by your favorite ones or you can book your own hotels. And the hotel room we offered here usually is standard with twin beds. If you want to have king-size bed room or suite, please let your trip advisor know. Besides, all the accommodation are quoted on two persons sharing one room. The room supplement must be paid if you want to have a single room.
* Most hotels we offered in our tour package have WIFI in the lobby, and some of which have WIFI in hotel rooms. If you need the WIFI in your room, please make sure with your trip advisor.
We have non-shopping private tour and tour with carefully selected shops. For tour with shops, the price will be lower, and you will enter one or two shops in every tourist city. The shops could be jade, silk, pearl, Chinese tea etc., all of which have strong China's character and is worthy to buy. Each shop will take you around 45 minutes. We promise there is no compulsory consumption at all. You get the situation in your hands.
* Department stores, supermarkets, boutiques, hotel and restaurants in most cities of China do accept the credit card with the sigh of MasterCard, VISA and JCB. However, it does generate commission charge. Please check the regulations with your bank manager.
All domestic flight we offered is the economic class, which you can carry one hand-on luggage no more than 5 kg for free. The total of free registered luggage is no more than 20kg. Excess luggage will charge you some extra fees, be aware of that. The free registered luggage allowance in China domestic train is 20kg.
The insurance provided by us is called Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance, which covers accidents occurring during the activities arranged by travel agency. It does not cover mishaps or physical problems occurring outside the guided tour period or caused by clients themsevles, so we highly suggest you purchase the full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin.
For group of 1-4 passengers, recommend US$ 4-8 per tourist per day for guide, and US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide; for group of 5 and above, recommend US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide, and US$2-4 per tourist per day for driver. Besides, we highly recommend you to tip every day to encourage better service from them in the next coming days. However, if you have genuine reason not to tip, don't.
Usually, the deposit of tour package accounts for 30% of the total quotation, and the balance should be paid 30 days before your tour date. Payment methods we accept include Bank Transfer and PayPal, Credit Card and so on. More details you can check the Payment Guide page. Hi, I am from Sydney (healthy 65) travelling solo. After touring Uzbekistan, I shall arrive at Beijing airport on 29/09/15 from Tashkent. After 4 nights in Beijing I fast train to Shanghai on 03/10/15. I fly to Osaka after 3 nights in Shanghai. My hotels in both cities are booked. I am looking for 3 day tours in Beijing (30/09, 01/10, 02/10) and 2 day tours in Shanghai (04/10, 05/10). I am open to your offer ASAP. Can you also transfer me from Beijing airport and Shanghai Rly stn to my hotels? Please send me your suggested itinerary and firm price. I shall prefer paying by credit card (AMEX or Visa). Thanks

We would like to join Diane Defeo group since we are traveling on the same cruiseship april 21 to the 23 on celebrity millenium. How much will it cost us without the hotel portion. Pick up from the port and the excursuion

We are traveling with Celebrity Cruise Line and will be in Tianjin port on April 21st at 6am and leaving Apr 23rd at 6pm and would like to travel to Bejing for 3 days and 2 nights. Do you have this tour with a high speed train ride that would be included? I like you 3 day tour but need transportation from Tianjin port to Bejing and back to port again by 5pm on the 23rd. If this is available could you give me prices? There will be 4 to 8 people.
