Day 1 Beijing to Luoyang by high speed train G655

Pick up from your hotel in Beijing and transferred to Beijing West Railway Station. Take G655 from Beijing at 10:05am to Luoyang and arrive in Luoyang at 2:01pm. Met by our representative in Luoyang and transferred to our designated hotel in Luoyang. Free for rest of the day.

Day 2 Luoyang to Shaolin to Luoyang by road


After breakfast, first visit the Longmen Grottoes. It is situated on the Yihe River banks, about 12 kilometers from Luoyang city. It is one of the three most valuable Buddhist caves and rock carvings in China. The grottos were first carved during the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), when the rulers relocated their capital from Datong to Luoyang at the end of the 5th century.

Then continue to visit the White Horse Temple, the first Buddhist Temple ever built in China, the important cradle of Chins’s buddhism, which was introduced into China from India in 68AD in Eastern Han Dynasty (25 AD – 220 AD) , the same year when the white horse temple was built.

After lunch, take one and half hours'drive to Shaolin Temple about 80 km away from Luoyang city. Shaolin Temple is the birthplace of Chan Buddism-cradle of Shaolin Kongfu. In the temple you will have the chance to enjoy the real Kung fu performance by the monks. Shaolin Temple is famous not only as one of China's most important Buddhist temples, but also as the center of Chinese kung-fu. After Shaolin Temple tour, drive back to Luoyang and stay overnight in Luoyang.

Day 3 Luoyang to Xian to by high speed train G2001

Pick up from your hotel in Luoyang and transferred to Luoyang Longmen Railway Station and take the high speed train G2001 leaving Luoyang at 08:39am and arriving at Xian at 10:25am. Met by our representitive in Xian and have lunch first. After lunch, visit Terra-cotta Army. It is located about 30km east of the Xian City. The museum includes Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3 as well the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. The Pit 1 is the largest of the three. The museum and the mausoleum are listed the world's cultural legacies as the UNESCO.

Then drive back to the city center of Xian and visit Xian City Wall. It is the most complete city wall that has survived in China as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Stay overnight in Xian.

Day 4 Xian to Beijing by high speed train G664

After breakfast, move on and ascend the Bell Tower. In Chinese history from Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), each city had a bell tower and a drum tower. The bell was sounded at dawn and the drum at dusk each day in ancient time, a means of telling time. The two are located in the center of the Xian city connecting the four roads from east, south, west and north within the city wall. Atop the Bell Tower you will have a panoramic view of the Xian City.


Then continue to visit Xian Muslim Quarters. For the tourists coming here, the bazaar in the Muslim area is most attractive with a wide area of stalls selling everything. The streets and walkways are full of life. The shopping is great, some unusual items you will seldom see anywhere else in China.  

 
After visiting Xian, transferred to Xian North Railway Station and take the fast train G664 leaving Xian at 2:37pm and arriving in Beijing at 8:27pm. Met and transferred to your downtown hotel in Beijing.

All of the tour packages exclude the international airfares. We suggest you can book it one your own. You can compare the price between OTAs (Expedia, Priceline, Sky scanner...) and the airlines. When you have a confirmed date, set alarm and compare it always.
As the China Visa, we cannot apply for you as we are an China inbound travel company. However, we can send you our invitation letter with our company's official seal to you after you booked the tour from us, which could assist you to get China Visa from China embassy easily. Usually, we suggest you to apply the visa about one month or one month and a half before your travel date.
For the breakfast, it is offered by the hotel you stay, usually Chinese and Western buffet breakfast. As for the lunch, we offer 80RMB per person for a standard Chinese meal at a nice tourist restaurant. If you want to order other kind of meals, such as vegetarian, Muslim meals, Indian Meals, please let your trip consultant know. Dinner usually will be left for you to choose the food you prefer. Our guide will help you to balance each meal such as your taboo, your preference and avoid repeated food. You have to pay for the extra cost if you want to take better or more. The meals on Yangtze Cruise are fixed Chinese and Western Buffet.
All the hotels can be replaced by your favorite ones or you can book your own hotels. And the hotel room we offered here usually is standard with twin beds. If you want to have king-size bed room or suite, please let your trip advisor know. Besides, all the accommodation are quoted on two persons sharing one room. The room supplement must be paid if you want to have a single room.
* Most hotels we offered in our tour package have WIFI in the lobby, and some of which have WIFI in hotel rooms. If you need the WIFI in your room, please make sure with your trip advisor.
We have non-shopping private tour and tour with carefully selected shops. For tour with shops, the price will be lower, and you will enter one or two shops in every tourist city. The shops could be jade, silk, pearl, Chinese tea etc., all of which have strong China's character and is worthy to buy. Each shop will take you around 45 minutes. We promise there is no compulsory consumption at all. You get the situation in your hands.
* Department stores, supermarkets, boutiques, hotel and restaurants in most cities of China do accept the credit card with the sigh of MasterCard, VISA and JCB. However, it does generate commission charge. Please check the regulations with your bank manager.
All domestic flight we offered is the economic class, which you can carry one hand-on luggage no more than 5 kg for free. The total of free registered luggage is no more than 20kg. Excess luggage will charge you some extra fees, be aware of that. The free registered luggage allowance in China domestic train is 20kg.
The insurance provided by us is called Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance, which covers accidents occurring during the activities arranged by travel agency. It does not cover mishaps or physical problems occurring outside the guided tour period or caused by clients themsevles, so we highly suggest you purchase the full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin.
For group of 1-4 passengers, recommend US$ 4-8 per tourist per day for guide, and US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide; for group of 5 and above, recommend US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide, and US$2-4 per tourist per day for driver. Besides, we highly recommend you to tip every day to encourage better service from them in the next coming days. However, if you have genuine reason not to tip, don't.
Usually, the deposit of tour package accounts for 30% of the total quotation, and the balance should be paid 30 days before your tour date.
