Day 2 Chengdu
This morning you will take a meaningful visit to Jinsha Site Museum. Constructed on the Jinsha ruin site which reveals the unique bronze civilization of the mysterious ancient Shu Kingdom (approximately 2900 – 3200 years ago), Jinsha Site Museum conserves the original expansive site for sacrifice as well as numerous ivory tusks and gold artifacts, including the symbol of China Culture Heritage–the Gold Sun and Immortal Bird.
Followed by a trip to the Wenshu Temple, whose predecessor was the Tang Dynasty Miaoyuan Pagoda Temple. Walk around and see the peaceful gardens, calligraphy steles, and red walls of this delightful complex.
Chengdu is famous for relaxing and leisure pace in China, you will experience in Chengdu People's Park. Sit down, order a pot of Chinese tea, make a casual chat with your friends and watching locals indulging themselves in different kinds of folk entertainment – napping in a lively teahouse, playing mahjong, disco dancing, neck massage, ear cleaning.
Then proceed to Jinli Old Street, which used to boasted as the “the First Street of the Shu Kingdom”
Day 3 Chengdu/Dujiangyan/Chengdu
Be picked up from your hotel in the morning at about 7:00am, driving about 1.5 hours to Dujiangyan, enjoy the once-in-lifetime experience.
Located about 65km from downtown Chengdu, Dujiangyan Panda Base is now the only place where can do volunteer work and hold panda for photos.
The one day volunteer work start at 8:30am in the morning and end at about 4:00pm, the volunteer work includes cleaning panda enclosures, preparing panda food, feed the panda, watching films about pandas,tour around the panda base, make Panda cakes, receive the panda volunteer certificate and souvenirs after the work.
Please Note:
1. There is a daily quota of 30 volunteers for panda keeper in Dujiangyan Panda Base based on 2016. We keep the right to make alteration on the itinerary if the policy changed during the summer holiday in 2017. We will make our best efforts to ensure this day is special for you.
2. There is an age restriction of 12-65 years old that can do the volunteer work. If your children are under 12 year old, you can still take them with you during the program, they can’t enter the room where the panda cage is but can stand at the gate to watch you feed the panda.
3. If you can do the volunteer work, you need to provide a simple health certificate (valid medical certificate and signature which could apply it in your county or in China) that proves you are suitable to do the program.
4. In Dujiangyan Panda base, donation program that allow you to take pictures with a panda next to you for about one minute, the donation amount is RMB 1800 per person based on 2016. This is optional and not included in the price. There is also a daily quota of 30 persons can do this program, please contact your trip consultant if you want to do it.
Day 4 Depart from Chengdu
Today your guide and driver will pick you up from Chengdu hotel and send you off for your flight/train to next destination.

1. The price is based on stay in China four star hotels. If you want to deduct, upgrade or downgrade the hotel, please indicate this while sending the inquiry.

5. Travel Agency’s Liability Insurance with your tour inside China.

As the China Visa, we cannot apply for you as we are an China inbound travel company. However, we can send you our invitation letter with our company's official seal to you after you booked the tour from us, which could assist you to get China Visa from China embassy easily. Usually, we suggest you to apply the visa about one month or one month and a half before your travel date.
* Most hotels we offered in our tour package have WIFI in the lobby, and some of which have WIFI in hotel rooms. If you need the WIFI in your room, please make sure with your trip advisor.
* Department stores, supermarkets, boutiques, hotel and restaurants in most cities of China do accept the credit card with the sigh of MasterCard, VISA and JCB. However, it does generate commission charge. Please check the regulations with your bank manager.

When is the best time to see pandas? I can hardly wait to visit Chengdu.

Spring and autumn is the best time to see panda. Pandas intolerant the heat. They would come back to the air-conditioner rooms when temperature is above 25 centigrate. You can also see the lovely creature playing happily in the morning.

Is the Panda Breeding and Research Center entrance fee included?How is the donation? I'm really eager to have photo with pandas.
