4 Days Guangzhou to Hefei Tours
Tour Route: Guangzhou, HefeiAfter spending the morning resting at your hotel, from the afternoon you’re going to explore a classic Guangzhou. The itinerary is like a dish of salad into which various ingredients are delicately mixed. Apart from the city emblem Five Rams Stone Sculpture inside Yuexiu Park, you’d visit the less-known 1,400-year-old Liurong Temple. Its color-rich ancient pagoda must be your admiration. Look at its ocher yellow eaves, burgundy barriers, white walls and bronze hanging bells. Isn’t it like an octagonal-petal flower?
The biggest happiness in today’s tour should go to Pearl River Night Cruise. The cruise shop will make a wonderful feast of Guangzhou night view to you. You can enjoy the tasty dinner buffet on the ship while watching the array of new skylines like Canton Tower, West Tower, Canton Fair Pazhou Complex and Liede Bridge silhouetted against the sapphire blanket of night sky!
Day 2 Guangzhou to Hefei
The new skylines you saw during yesterday’s Pearl River Night Cruise give their day look now. These post-2010-Asian-Games landmarks get together around Flower City Square. How grant they are- Guangzhou Opera House, Guangdong Museum, Guangzhou Library, West Tower, Children’s Palace and Haixinsha Asian Games Park. Later you’ll be lifted up to the top of 600-meter-high Canton Tower. In the wildest excitement you’ll command the panorama of the city!
After lunch let’s steer to the ever-bustling Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. Have a close look at the Millennium Pavement at the entrance before you launch shopping in brand department stores or discount shops that line the long street. With your needs fulfilled, you must have a pretty Guangzhou album in your mind by the time you’re escorted for the airport to take flight to Hefei. Upon arrival at Hefei Xinqiao International Airport, your tour guide will escort you to your hotel in Hefei.
Day 3 Hefei
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and visit several places:Lord Bao's Tomb Yard, Lord Bao's Temple, Mingjiao Temple, the Former Residence of Li Hongzhang, Li Hongzhang's Shrine and Gentle Brezze Pavillion. Finally, you will walk around Xiaoyaojin Park, which was a famous battlefield in China's history. After the tour, you will be brought back to your hotel for the remainder of the night. (Service End)
Attraction Description
The Temple of Lord Bao was built to commemorate Bao Zheng who lived during the Northern Song Dynasty. The temple is located on Xianghua Mound in Baohe Park.
Mingjiao Temple is one of China's most famous temples and is a state protected Buddhist temple. The temple was built during the Tang Dynasty and is known for the many bells in the eaves of the temple that ring on windy days.
The Shrine Hall of Li Hongzhang was built in the 28th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign during the Qing Dynasty. The hall is built besides his tomb and holds his spirit tablet.
Xiaoyaojin Park, known as Leisure Ford Park in English, is a famous battlefield.
Day 4 Deaprt from Hefei
Today you are going to visit Sanhe Ancient Town (combined ticket:CNY 21), which liese in Feixi County and is 40 kilometers south of Hefei City.The town is popular for its uncomplicated folkways, simple life, historical background and the traditional Hui-style residences. Its unique local food is also a special treat. After have lunch with tour guide in Sanhe Ancient Town, you will be transfered back to Hefei in the afternoon to catch your train back to Shanghai. If you have more time, you might want to stay overnight in the local guesthouse in Sanhe and have a more relaxing holiday.
All of the tour packages exclude the international airfares. We suggest you can book it one your own. You can compare the price between OTAs (Expedia, Priceline, Sky scanner...) and the airlines. When you have a confirmed date, set alarm and compare it always.
