Is there a direct train from Shanghai to Kashgar? Can you help me make rail reservations?
Asked by Lewis (Aug.28, 2012)

Lead To China Trip Advisor (Aug.28, 2012) replied:
No through trains between the two cities. Say the trip involves a connecting train if you by train. Only one train leaving Shanghai at 20:30 for Urumchi. You should spend 42 hours on the train. Then you take the 15:46 train at Urumchi. You can reached your destination 31 hours later. Only 8 hours separate the two if you take a non-stop flight. We can reserve tickets for you when we have your scheduling.
