Arrive at Tunxi, the downtown of Huangshan City. Met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Visit the well-preserved commercial street named the Ancient Street of Tunxi, built in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Drive for about 80 kilometers (1.5 hours) to the Mercy Light Pavilion in Huangshan Scenic Area, the start point for hiking up from the western steps.
Then you will start a long march for about 5 hours. Along the way, you will enjoy numerous breath-taking scenery like the Celestial Capital Peak, the Jade Screen Peak, the Guest-welcoming Pine, the Lotus Peak (the highest peak of Huangshan Mountain with an elevation of 1,864 meters), the Hundred-step Ladder to the Clouds, the Old Monk in Meditation, the Narrow Cliff, the Turtle on the back of a Crocodile, the Bright Top and the Flying-over Rock. For the sake of safety, however, keep this saying in your mind: Don't walk when you are enjoying the beautiful views, and don't get distracted by views while walking.

Mt. Huangshan is famed for its sunrise. If weather permitting, you may gaze upon a breathtaking sight this morning as the golden light of the sun pierces the mists. The peaks insert into the clouds, and the light of sunrise illuminates a frothy, ever-changing sea of white clouds below. You can watch this spectacle from a viewing terrace close to your hotel. After breakfast, head out for an all-day hike to explore the trails of the Xihai Grand Canyon, where you may enjoy a lot of breathtaking scenery. You’ll step into the Grand Canyon from the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, walk through the First Ring and the Second Ring and get to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Then you may take the Xihai Sightseeing Cable-car up to the White-cloud Scenic Area. En route, you can enjoy the views like the Lady Playing the Piano, the Upside-down Boot, the Dog Watching the Moon, the Double Bamboo Shoot Peak, the Archway Peak, the Stone-pillar Peak, the Pine Forest Peak, the Camel Peak etc. before you go back to the hotel in late afternoon.
Meals: Breakfast, LunchDay 4 Mt. Huangshan Scenic Area
Today you will do the trekking down from the Refreshing Terrace to the Pine Valley scenic area. It is a Footpath, which is rarely visited by tourists, just like a refreshing world. This trekking way is 12.5km long and it will take about 5 hours to cover the whole distance. At the base of the mountain, you may see the Five-dragon Pond, the Jadite Pools and the big stone-carving characters of “Buddha”, " Longevity" in the wall of the pools. After that, take the Taiping Cable Car up to the top of the Mountain, offering you a bird's views of the gorgeous landscape of Nine-Dragon Peak.
Meals: Breakfast, LunchDay 5 Mt.Huangshan-Tunxi-Departure
After breakfast, descend the mountain from the eastern steps which presents somewhat different, yet equally marvelous scenery in comparison with what you can see along the western steps. It is almost all the way downhill and would take you about 3 hours to reach the base of the mountain before you go back to the downtown in the afternoon and visit Ink-stick Factory, the unique one in China now. Go to your next destination by plane or bullet train.
Meals: BreakfastAll of the tour packages exclude the international airfares. We suggest you can book it one your own. You can compare the price between OTAs (Expedia, Priceline, Sky scanner...) and the airlines. When you have a confirmed date, set alarm and compare it always.
As the China Visa, we cannot apply for you as we are an China inbound travel company. Usually, we suggest you to apply the visa about one month or one month and a half before your travel date.
* Most hotels we offered in our tour package have WIFI in the lobby, and some of which have WIFI in hotel rooms. If you need the WIFI in your room, please make sure with your trip advisor.
* Department stores, supermarkets, boutiques, hotel and restaurants in most cities of China do accept the credit card with the sigh of MasterCard, VISA and JCB. However, it does generate commission charge. Please check the regulations with your bank manager.
How long for hiking each day? If I arrive by train, how could I meet the guide?

For your enquiry, please kindly see that the service of local guide and van is for a maximum of 8 hours each day. You can take the cable car up and down the mountain. There’s no fixed hiking time.Our Huangshan guide and driver will hold a pickup card “Lead to China + your name-x x” to meet you at the Huangshan train station exit. Please well note it.
