DETAILED ITINERARY
Today you will arrive in Beijing. Your guide will welcome you at the airport, and help you check in the hotel. The rest time will be free on your own.
Day 2 Beijing
Today you will first visit the world's biggest city plaza, the Tian'anmen Square; then walk to the marvelous "Egg" (National Centre for the Performing Arts) to take some pictures from its outside; subsequently, go to the Forbidden City, the most complete imperial palace in China; and later proceed to the impressive Temple of Heaven. After the sightseeing tour driven back to your hotel.
Day 3 Beijing
After breakfast, drive to the Badaling Great Wall, which enjoys a long history and is part of the glorious culture of China. For lunch you are arranged in a local restaurant. Afterwards, take a short drive to visit the Sacred Way and Changling, one of the Ming Tombs. On the return way to your hotel, pay a visit to the Beijing Olympic Village to take some photos of the "Bird's Nest" and the "Water Cube" from the outside. Feel a little bit tired? Not to worry! We will arrange a foot massage (free of charge) for you. With the well famed Peking Roast Duck you will complete your today's tour!
Day 4 Flight to Guilin from Beijing
Take a morning flight to Guilin from Beijing, and be met and transferred to your hotel in Guilin. After a little bit rest and lunch, visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, and Reed Flute Cave. Guilin is excellent for either a leisurely vacation or an outdoor adventure. Picturesque Li River flows through Guilin and Yangshuo, with fascinating Karst peaks along the way.
Day 5 Longji Rice Terrace
Today’s excursion will bring you to Longji Rice Terrace. You also can experience the local lifestyle of Yao and Miao ethnic minorities who live there. After your tour of this breathtaking area, you’ll be driven back to Guilin, about 2-hour drive.
Day 6 Li River Cruise
After breakfast today, you’ll be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive) to start your boat cruise down the picturesque Li River, which is the highlight of any visit to Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you’ll be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese painting. After checking into your hotel in Yangshuo, free to explore the beautiful town and its famous West Street.
Day 7 Guilin
Today, you will be driven back to Guilin (1.5-hour drive), where you will tour Fubo Hill if time permits (depending on your flight schedule) before your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
