Day 1 Beijing

Transfer from the airport to the hotel by private vehicle and English speaking tour guide. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Beijing

Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.

Walk around on Tiananmen Square -the biggest downtown Square in the world.

Then we will enter the Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City also called Palace Museum. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. Take sightseeing in Forbidden City along the central axis for 1.5 to 2 hours.

After lunch in local restaurant, visit Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420, Temple of Heaven is situated south of Beijing city. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. Have sightseeing for 1 hour.

Proceed to enjoy Chinese Foot Massage to have a leisure time. Have dinner in local restaurant. Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

Day 3 Beijing

Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.

Visit Beijing Hutong -ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Take rickshaw to visit the ancient Hutong including Drum tower, Local family, Shicha Lake and Bar Street.

Then we will visit Lama Temple for one hour. Lama Temple is a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism and the only downtown Buddhism temple in Beijing. Lama Temple is a former imperial palace in Qing dynasty.

After lunch in local restaurant, visit Summer Palace -20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc. Take sightseeing in this attraction for about one hour.

Taste Beijing Roast Duck for Dinner. Beijing Roast Duck is the delicious food in Beijing. Eating Peking duck is seen to be one of the two things you are absolutely supposed to do while in Beijing. Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

Day 4 Beijing

Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.

Drive one and half hours to the famous Badaling Great Wall. Badaling is the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained. It is easy to walk along this section of defensive project of ancient China. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours. Cable car is optional to get the top to have a bird view of the wall.

Drive to Ming Tombs to visit Changling, the largest one. Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427. Visit Sacred Way for half an hour. Enjoy Acrobatic Show in the theater. Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

Day 5 Beijing

Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.

Drive to visit Marco Polo Bridge - This bridge was recorded in the travelogue of Marco Polo, an Italian professional traveler who went all the way to China during the Yuan Dynasty.

Go to Beijing Zoo to see Giant Panda. Enjoy Chinese Tea and watch Chinese Tea Show at Crab apple Flower Stream Teahouse – a peaceful Beijing ancient Siheyuan (courtyard). Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

All of the tour packages exclude the international airfares. We suggest you can book it one your own. You can compare the price between OTAs (Expedia, Priceline, Sky scanner...) and the airlines. When you have a confirmed date, set alarm and compare it always.
As the China Visa, we cannot apply for you as we are an China inbound travel company. However, we can send you our invitation letter with our company's official seal to you after you booked the tour from us, which could assist you to get China Visa from China embassy easily. Usually, we suggest you to apply the visa about one month or one month and a half before your travel date.
For the breakfast, it is offered by the hotel you stay, usually Chinese and Western buffet breakfast. As for the lunch, we offer 80RMB per person for a standard Chinese meal at a nice tourist restaurant. If you want to order other kind of meals, such as vegetarian, Muslim meals, Indian Meals, please let your trip consultant know. Dinner usually will be left for you to choose the food you prefer. Our guide will help you to balance each meal such as your taboo, your preference and avoid repeated food. You have to pay for the extra cost if you want to take better or more. The meals on Yangtze Cruise are fixed Chinese and Western Buffet.
All the hotels can be replaced by your favorite ones or you can book your own hotels. And the hotel room we offered here usually is standard with twin beds. If you want to have king-size bed room or suite, please let your trip advisor know. Besides, all the accommodation are quoted on two persons sharing one room. The room supplement must be paid if you want to have a single room.
* Most hotels we offered in our tour package have WIFI in the lobby, and some of which have WIFI in hotel rooms. If you need the WIFI in your room, please make sure with your trip advisor.
We have non-shopping private tour and tour with carefully selected shops. For tour with shops, the price will be lower, and you will enter one or two shops in every tourist city. The shops could be jade, silk, pearl, Chinese tea etc., all of which have strong China's character and is worthy to buy. Each shop will take you around 45 minutes. We promise there is no compulsory consumption at all. You get the situation in your hands.
* Department stores, supermarkets, boutiques, hotel and restaurants in most cities of China do accept the credit card with the sigh of MasterCard, VISA and JCB. However, it does generate commission charge. Please check the regulations with your bank manager.
All domestic flight we offered is the economic class, which you can carry one hand-on luggage no more than 5 kg for free. The total of free registered luggage is no more than 20kg. Excess luggage will charge you some extra fees, be aware of that. The free registered luggage allowance in China domestic train is 20kg.
The insurance provided by us is called Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance, which covers accidents occurring during the activities arranged by travel agency. It does not cover mishaps or physical problems occurring outside the guided tour period or caused by clients themsevles, so we highly suggest you purchase the full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin.
For group of 1-4 passengers, recommend US$ 4-8 per tourist per day for guide, and US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide; for group of 5 and above, recommend US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide, and US$2-4 per tourist per day for driver. Besides, we highly recommend you to tip every day to encourage better service from them in the next coming days. However, if you have genuine reason not to tip, don't.
Usually, the deposit of tour package accounts for 30% of the total quotation, and the balance should be paid 30 days before your tour date. Yes, it is a little cold in late March. Maybe you need to bring thin sweater and a coat. You can focus on the the real weather in March through the weather forcast.

I'm planning my 1st travel to China recently, how about the weather in early summer in Beijing? Is it a good time to visit Beijing & TianJing? What cloth should I bring?

Absolutely, it is the right time to visit Beijing and Tianjin. You can bring your T-shirt and knitwear, besides, a jacket should be useful if it's rainy. You may pay attention to the real-time Beijing Weather report before leaving for it. Have a nice tour!
