Day 1 Arrive in Changsha

Our local professional guide will greet you at the airport or train station and escort you to hotel for check in. The rest of day is free on your own or you can ask the guide for some suggestions.
Overnight in Changsha city

Day 2 Changsha

Morning: Visit Yue foothill academy, Yue foothill academy (1 hour), it is one of the four Chinese ancient academies in Song Dynasty, organized in the Northern Song Dynasty Kaibao nine years (the A.D. 976 years), and has a reputation as "millennium academy" that witness the thousand years reform of education.
Then enjoy the Loving Youth Pavilion (Aiwanting)
The Loving Youth Pavilion (Aiwanting) (30 minutes): It was built in 1792 during the Qing Dynasty. The beauty of this spot, with its blossoming peach trees, graceful willows, and flowing streams has attracted many poets and artists.

In the afternoon, visit Orange Island and Hunan Embroidary Research Institute.

Day 3 Changsha, Fenghuang

Our guide and driver will escort you from Changsha to Shaoshan.
Visit Water Dripping Cave, Former Residence of Mao Zedong.
In the afternoon, be transferred to Fenghuang Ancient Town and overnight here

Day 4 Fenghuang, Zhangjiajie

Morning tour in Fenghuang: Today,our guide will take you to have a leisure walking in the ancient city. Phoenix ancient city is at the western border of Hunan and by the riverside of beautiful Tuo River. Phoenix,a place that shares the name with the holy bird in ancient times. It is ancient, quiet, and secluded.
Afternoon: It takes 4 hours from ancient city to Zhangjiajie.
Overnight in Wulingyuan

Day 5 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Morning: Visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Zhangjiajie is a famous tourism destination in Hunan province. The scenic area often called Zhangjiajie actually refers to Wulingyuan Scenic Area, covering an area of 264 square kilometers with over 97% forest coverage, which comprises the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianzi Mountain, Huanglongdong (Yellow Dragon Cave), Baofenghu (Baofeng Lake) and the Suoxi Valley. In the morning, take the cable car up Yellow Stone Village, where you will appreciate the daunting rock columns. From the top, travelers can enjoy spectacular views of the forest with rough landscape.

Afternoon: Visit Golden Whip Stream (2.5 hours) in the PM, Located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, it covers a distance of 7.5 km from north to south, winding across mountains and valleys. The brook is limpid through the year, with many scenic spots along the way. It is famous for Jinbian Cave-which has a height of 382km and looks like a huge flying eagle. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.
Overnight in Wulingyuan

Day 6 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Morning: Enjoy your one day relaxing tour in this fairyland. You will take cable car up to Yuanjiajie, the best lookout and very core of the scenic area, to enjoy the beautiful scenery. After that, travel to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area for a short visit to the No. 1 Natural Bridge and the Enchanted Stage,etc.

Afternoon: Take a green bus to Tianzi Mountain,it provides stunning views of peaks, which rise one after another. It is known as 'the Monarch of the Peak Forest'. At the top of the mountain, visitors can see the full extent of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Beautiful scenes of the mountain greet visitors in different seasons. There are four wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.

Day 7 Zhangjiajie departure

Morning: After checking out from hotel, pay a visit to Tianmen Mountain,it has been designated as the second national forest park in Zhangjiajie. Rising nearly 1,520 meters (about 4,987 feet), Tianmen is the highest peak of the city and is regarded as the 'soul' of the scenic area. There are many graceful trees, karst hillocks and medicinal herbs and plants on the mountain. Tianmen also has its 'four wonders' - Tianmen Mountain Cableway, Tongtian Dadao (Avenue Leading to the Sky), Tianmen Cave and Bonsai Garden on Air.

Afternoon: Tujia Folk Garden: With woodcarving on the windows, Flying Eaves and colorful wall, Tujia Folk Garden is a masterpiece of nature and manmade. In the park,the famous buildings are Tusi Town, Baoshou or Wave Hand Hall and Tujia Village. Chongtian Tower, which is 48 meters high, has 12 stories with special design. The park shows Tujia customs, special stone, root carving, precious relics and old Tujia folk performance, such as Maogusi Dance and Copper Bells Dance.
After dinner your guide will see you off in Zhangjiaije Hehua airport.

It is flexible to change the duration, attractions, starting and ending cities according to your interests. Also the tour can be extended or shorten as your preference, just let your trip consultant know.
All of the tour packages exclude the international airfares. We suggest you can book it one your own. You can compare the price between OTAs (Expedia, Priceline, Sky scanner...) and the airlines. When you have a confirmed date, set alarm and compare it always.
As the China Visa, we cannot apply for you as we are an China inbound travel company. However, we can send you our invitation letter with our company's official seal to you after you booked the tour from us, which could assist you to get China Visa from China embassy easily. Usually, we suggest you to apply the visa about one month or one month and a half before your travel date.
For the breakfast, it is offered by the hotel you stay, usually Chinese and Western buffet breakfast. As for the lunch, we offer 80RMB per person for a standard Chinese meal at a nice tourist restaurant. If you want to order other kind of meals, such as vegetarian, Muslim meals, Indian Meals, please let your trip consultant know. Dinner usually will be left for you to choose the food you prefer. Our guide will help you to balance each meal such as your taboo, your preference and avoid repeated food. You have to pay for the extra cost if you want to take better or more. The meals on Yangtze Cruise are fixed Chinese and Western Buffet.
All the hotels can be replaced by your favorite ones or you can book your own hotels. And the hotel room we offered here usually is standard with twin beds. If you want to have king-size bed room or suite, please let your trip advisor know. Besides, all the accommodation are quoted on two persons sharing one room. The room supplement must be paid if you want to have a single room.
* Most hotels we offered in our tour package have WIFI in the lobby, and some of which have WIFI in hotel rooms. If you need the WIFI in your room, please make sure with your trip advisor.
We have non-shopping private tour and tour with carefully selected shops. For tour with shops, the price will be lower, and you will enter one or two shops in every tourist city. The shops could be jade, silk, pearl, Chinese tea etc., all of which have strong China's character and is worthy to buy. Each shop will take you around 45 minutes. We promise there is no compulsory consumption at all. You get the situation in your hands.
* Department stores, supermarkets, boutiques, hotel and restaurants in most cities of China do accept the credit card with the sigh of MasterCard, VISA and JCB. However, it does generate commission charge. Please check the regulations with your bank manager.
All domestic flight we offered is the economic class, which you can carry one hand-on luggage no more than 5 kg for free. The total of free registered luggage is no more than 20kg. Excess luggage will charge you some extra fees, be aware of that. The free registered luggage allowance in China domestic train is 20kg.
The insurance provided by us is called Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance, which covers accidents occurring during the activities arranged by travel agency. It does not cover mishaps or physical problems occurring outside the guided tour period or caused by clients themsevles, so we highly suggest you purchase the full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin.
For group of 1-4 passengers, recommend US$ 4-8 per tourist per day for guide, and US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide; for group of 5 and above, recommend US$ 2-5 per tourist per day for guide, and US$2-4 per tourist per day for driver. Besides, we highly recommend you to tip every day to encourage better service from them in the next coming days. However, if you have genuine reason not to tip, don't.
Usually, the deposit of tour package accounts for 30% of the total quotation, and the balance should be paid 30 days before your tour date.
